 		I do not think these UFO sightings or anything should be taken into account as connected to this ARG. There is no evidence but a vague resemblance of half of a glyph on the underside of this "ufo's" wing and the AR glyph. That is a big stretch. At least with the I Love Bees site, you knew that was the site for the ARG stuff. I think 27.com is a very questionable website indeed, but there is really no substantial evidence to include it in the discussions toward this ARG so far. Every other clue we know is real has been on officially sanctioned Halo sites.

Actually, she says "This is the way the world ends." thus quoting the First Cortana Letter from 1999 which in turn quoted "The Hollow Men" by TS Eliot. There's a lot of references throughout her speeches. Those links I gave about biblical allegories and references aren't the only ones either. IceWeasel has a whole group dedicated to the discussion of that.

Also, it's "I am your shield, I am your sword." That was confirmed by Marty a long while ago.

Indeed. This UFO stuff just seems like a big red herring. I read a quote by an alien in a book once. The alien said that humans have excellent pattern recognition, so good that sometimes we make patterns to follow that aren't there.

Or something like that.

 		Spoiler alert for those who haven't read Ghosts of Onyx.

So we know that at the end of GoO, the mighty Spartan family descended into the opening of the collapsing structure on Onyx(folding in like a flower) and into a slipspace bubble.

In the announcement trailer, the exact opposite happens (the flower blooms).
So shouldn't we expect that something will come out of the opening (I.E. the Swiss Family Spartans?)

My theory has always been that the opening on Onyx leads to Earth, as the Forerunners created shield worlds to take them quickly to the Ark on Earth. The Forerunners were masters of slipspace. The Covenant have always gathered Forerunner technologies and made them their own; thus the reason why Covenant ships are faster in slipspace than Human ships. It would thus follow the the slipspace bubble could quickly transport beings from the Shield worlds to the Ark for safety away from the Flood.

So in conclusion, perhaps we have to figure out how to unlock the Forerunner structure to let the other Spartans out, thus triggering an event in the Halo 3 game?

If I recall reading on one of your links I found that the first "Chad" Photo was the cell phone image, followed by several more under the rajman flickr account. I don't recall a single reason to believe they aren't the same people except for the opinion of that one person. Unless you have other information separating the 2 entities...

I agree, but until this lead is fully explored we will always go back to it and I personally want to disprove the connection asap before we get more clues in the right direction.

it;s a close up shot of the fin from this UFO pic(considerably old), so my oppion. 27.com is part of an ARG, just not his one.

I think it's an unrelated ARG, with very bad timing.

Still cool though.

My opinion on the "update pending" images is simply that, at the time of posting the site, the graphics for those models weren't finalised. Rather than put unfinished (and likely to be changed) images up, MS put up those as placeholders.

As to the Structure screenshot, I'll have to take a look at it when I get to an open system.

-- Steve's got his eye out for signs, but is trying not to see signs everywhere.

PS: I'm thinking the UFO site is unrelated. It got started long before this.

Irrelevant - Project FIA (BBC/Radio 1) started, as its own separate ARG, long before the link to the Perplex City ARG was established. There's precedence. (Note: I'm /not/ beating the "ZOMG, ITS A KLOoO!" drum. I'm beating the "I don't have decent enough proof that dispels all the coincidences." drum)
