 		I posted this over at bungie.net forums and someone recommended that I post here.

I started following the trail of crumbs and this is where I am at.
1. Various users reported receiving emails with the following image. http://gigapress.com/media/ar_email.png The symbol on the wall is of interest in this case.
2. Someone discovered a similar symbol suddenly visible as a reflection in MC's visor in the image located on the first page of Halo3.com

Some people point out that the reflected symbol is actually on the arm of the Ark located in front of MC.

Following the clues seems to point us in the direction of the photo of the Ark as a piece of the puzzle.

3. Continuing to the Media|Screenshot section of Halo3.com we find that there is a picture of the Ark (structure.jpg)seemingly out of place at the end of the row of pictures.

I performed Steganographic detection on this screenshot and it would appear that there may be a coded message hidden using jphide. I have begun an attempt to break the steganography using a brute-force dictionary attack but the process has not completed yet.

Maybe someone else would like to join me in attempting to prove or disprove that there is a message coded in this image.

 		Teaser Trailer frame by frame
So I sorted through the entire trailer frame by frame.

99% of all the scrambled Cortana/Gravemind sequence is jibberish and are usually stylized transitions off them speaking, but none of them seem to be of any real thing.

However:

There are 2 frames that are very, very out of place.

Both only last a single frame and are very detailed. AR wanted us to go back to this trailer to look for clues whether it be in the screens, halo3.com or the trailer itself. If anyone can identify these perhaps they are of interest, I however only know that they are extremely out of place. Go ahead and see for yourself if you doubt it.

 		I think what you should be looking for is changes from an old version to a new one, seeing as the symbol on halo3.com was added recently maybe they will change the content on something else soon. Monitor changes and you will find your answer.

 		Looks like he is trying to hint at things most of us are already figuring out ahead of time. That AJ seems to be the monitor of the ark (or something similar). Like a safely net to pull everyone along, seems nice and all but I hope this gets a little deeper.

I dunno man, asking us to stay up until 1am (4am for east coasters) on a school/work night, just to send some people an email is not enjoyable in my book. It's starting to taste like teh weaksauce.


I thought about this, and the coordinates I saw earlier, which supposedly point to Voi, Kenya. 4am EDT = 12 noon a UTC +3 (8 hour difference), which is Voi's location. To me, this seems like a logical time with regards to such a "reference point".
