Anyone recognize the style or signature at the end (I think it said AW)

Okay, so the comic must have popped up during the update. Clearly it shows the Forerunners building the structure(from structure.jpg in the trailer), in Voi, and someone painting a sybmol he saw ALOT(according to the comic) on the wall.

EDIT: 16/223 = 0.0717488789 ... Um, lots of 7s...

www.halo3.com/comic

chalk up the comic for having another instance of the glyph!

on the last page you can scroll the first frame left and right to reveal the number 206... our next post time?

edit: i didn't see the intereactivity in the other frames.

So the glyph is definitely part of the Ark structure (assuming that the Ark is indeed Earthside). But, did humanity actually evolve that far back then, as specified in the comic?

Last page of the comic, we can not only see the glyph, but if you have a keen eye, you'll notice that all three panels are INTERACTIVE, and can be dragged around (or, in the case of panel 2, have dust brushed off of) to reveal the following numbers:

206
16/223
65

and the letters AWO

Does this have any significance?

Two questions. First, how did you know that comic was there? I don't see any links to it on Halo3.com.

Second, whats up with the 20 in the top frame of the last page? And in the second frame it looks like more numbers possibly 13/223? I can't really make them out.

EDIT:apparently I'm slow in the head...

Dead end for now. Maybe it's not ready to go. Where did that comic link come from?

Going to the webpage http://206.16.223.65/ gives the following response, at least for me.

I was just about to post that. Apart from the significance of the numbers, can anyone think of a valid reason why an African tribesman is using Hindu-Arabic numerals thousands of years before they were first used in their most primitive form? Simplicity, maybe. Or perhaps the Forerunners hold some other secrets...

I've tied that IP with web, ftp, and telnet, I even reversed the octets, nothing.
