It's getting confusing using two threads.

We're using this one for communication from AR, right?

Affirmative. Only Transmission Log and SOTA and apparently Avery Fane have moved to the new thread.

He's a SOTA member. Wink

Yup. And for anything Halo3.com related that is not the SOTA or the countdown page related.
It can be a pain to watch multiple pages, but in the end it keeps the information easier to access and find when needed.

Someone should call him maybe? But not tonight. At least have the respect to call him at a decent hour of the day so that if he is not a part of this game, you do not disturb him too much. I know I would hate to start having all these calls about something I have no idea about all of a sudden.

Ok... I am calling BS on this as a canon source. Myspace blogs can easily be 'pre-dated,' meaning that I can make a blog entry right now, but pre-date it to a month, two months, even three months ago if I wanted to.

So far, I only see two things that connect him to the ARG: one blog post, and the banner that appears on top of his blog home page. The blog post could have been done this morning, and then pre-dated to make it look like it was posted before the AR's 1am 'event.' As for the banner, if you sniff around his pages, you'll see he lists 'web design' as a talent. It's a nice banner, but I've seen enough professional looking sig's to know that it wouldn't be hard to fake a 'bungie-esque' banner.

So with only two shoddy-at-best connections to the ARG, and indicators to the contrary that too many to list, I'm pretty sure this guy is just an emo faker that is trying to cash in on the latest craze among the 16-32 crowd right now, to help boost his self-promotional efforts. If it turns out to be something, then so be it, but you won't see me giving the dude free publicity, or wasting one second picking appart his photos in my text editor.

Or maybe I am just a little hesitant to be so accepting after the XBL gamertag turned out to be a fake. Like I said, there are just too many con's to believe it to be canon, unless more evidence comes along.

Holy crap, guys, I can't leave you alone for ONE day without you mucking up the place!

Okay, that's a joke, clearly you've all been hard at work.

While I see the need to find SOME way to split this up, -why- are we spliting up Adjutant Reflex and the countdown?

"System Bypass In Progress. - Realignment Proceeding" sounds an awful lot like AR speak to me.

PS It's nice to be back. Very Happy

I believe the thought was to keep the 206 addresses together, but separate due to the wealth of information coming out of it, and keep everything else in this original thread for now.

Addendum: Since things seem to have quietened down for a bit, I think I shall be retiring for the night. See you all on the flipside.

Yeah, since we got ahead of ourselves using some inside info and a little brute force, we thought it would be better to keep those websites together since the SOTA one mentions a direct tie with the Transmission Log.

It has said that on several pages of the bungie site for information or images that are not yet available ever since the site launched (for example, it originally said that for several of the vehicles, and currently says it for the Pelican). I think it's not part of the ARG.

Those were noticed back when the screenshots were released. They may have added a hidden glyph that I can't see, but I think it's supposed to represent technology or a city on that moon.
