okay, trying to understand when the timer is counting down to.

7(seconds) for each of the 7 cycles = 49 +14(cause of the odd counting)=63 second/minute. Same system = 63 minutes an hour(or 3969 seconds an hour) we now know there are 33 hours in a day, so 3969 * 33 = 130977(seconds a day or 2182.95 minutes a day or 36.3825 hours a day)

36.3825 * 6(days left) = 218.295
218.295 / 24 = 9.095625. There, almost nine days would make it saturday the 24th, right? I am pretty good at math but I make a lot of arithmetic mistakes, so someone double check this(and maybe make sense of the fractions... I'm tired, here. 95,626/a million = x/24 = hours. Maybe you have a better aproach. Either way looks like something is gonna go down sometime at saturday(I can't as far off as a day, can I?)

Yup base 7. But this begs the question what kind of a time format is it following 60 seconds 60 minutes 24 hours 365 days?

Yeah, it's just following base 60, which makes it a lot easier to calculate the actual time it's counting down to.

I did some calculations, and the countdown in base 60 time is for 5 days 11 hours 5 minutes x seconds as of now. It's 12:54pm on the 15th where I am (Sydney, Australia), which means the countdown finishes at midnight on the 21st.

Does everyone have the same time? Or is it running off our computer clocks?

Basically, it's just counting down using standard base 60 time, but displaying each of the numbers in base 7.

He couldn't have possibly known there would be 33 hours a day? also, 113-100(plus second number 100) = 14 seconds, plus 49 more for the more sequential count makes it so you have 7 *7 + 14 = 63, not 60. That part is right, so is the fact that it makes 63 minutes in an hour, so this isn't normal time, it's a different way of counting.

That the numbers 59 to 0 in base 7, and there's 60 of them. Your problem comes when you assume there's 14 numbers between 113 and 100. In base 10 there is, but it's counting down in base 7, so there's only actually 11 numbers there.

You're missing the point. The clock is a normal clock, but displays it's numbers in base 7. That's all there is to it.

has anyone thought of AR being the AI of the Ark? and hes been telling us every moment of the ark and its activation and its "the seeds have been sent or water" aka signaling all Halos to activate?

And that hes talking to us from the future? letting us know that we will see the extinction of us in 545 years?

The Countdown means when the halos are all properly aligned etc?

Try and read a bit of the thread first before asking if we've covered that already.

Has anyone been to Lyca.com yet, or am I the only one staying awake and digging through it right now?

lyca.com

Ahhh...it's good to be back among those who know what they're doing. (I haven't been here since ILB)

But I'll be linking to a place with those who don't.

According to people at args.bungie.org, the lyca dot game isn't related.

Now to read through the prior 66 pages...

I'm just happy more people here are looking into Avery Fane. The people at the args place aren't tearing things apart properly to find things.

Just to update my previous post regarding the picture with the man behind the pole. It looks like it has really nothing to do with Halo 3 from what i've heard!

http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=333726#333726

Maybe it's another puzzle regarding other games.

The image on the homepage of sota has a weird url. Might be nothing but I thought I would post it anyways.

346429963_2fc516901e.jpg

I checked and all of the other images have normal names. (The crop circle one does have a date [060507] at the end of it though).

I also have the actionscript for the clock if anyone would like it.
