did you get it right
max's break down of the clues

hi all did anyone notice that Max tells how to break down the clues, and the one that you have to spell a p p l e b e e s , well my answer was 134 but he say's that if you entered it right you would get a page about freevira...I never saw a page when I entered 134 so I looked at his second answer and it would equal 50. I was just wondering if we put the wrong number does that mean we "failed the mission"? even if we put the right answer to who did it and where andrew was held? O man I am so confused....and what kind of cliffhanger is that, that now sonia is missing? maybe a new puzzle??

I'm 100% sure that we will receive Applebees gift certificates to a free meal or something like that because they "reserve the right to substitute the prize with something else with comparable or greater value. Hence, since the world has 5 billion people and 4.9 billion people guessed it right, we will all get a certificate since they can't micro split a penny and send it to us.

Contest is only open for those in the US so that narrows it down to about 300 million. Razz

Sonia had 29,513 hits on it, and most people visited it at least 2ce. And out of that some people must have gotten the final answer wrong.

 SAVE MY HUSBAND
Coupon

At the very least I hope we all get coupons for a free meal. I wasted the better part of 8 days googling, theorizing, and thinking that this silly thing was going to get more interesting and harder to solve. In the end, it was probably just what it was. Grant-Cherry Street.

Moi--you are too funny--I've read the last few pages and actually laughed out loud. Thanks for the humor

Gift Certificate

I wish we all could do a group gang up on all local Applebee's and if we do get certificates.... We should go as one huge group to all our local restaurants and eat for free! the restaraunts would have a fit... we would just say "Thank Christina and Andrew and Max for the dinner!!"

Hey - keep in mind that the official rules clearly state that the prize will be awarded in the form of a check...

...save the stamp on the envelope - it'll probably be worth more!

You are correct, however the rules also clearly state (please note underlined portion):
From the SMH Official Rules
SMH Official Rules wrote:
PRIZE: $25,000 cash to be shared equally among all verified and eligible Winners (awarded as a check). No more than a total of $25,000 will be awarded, regardless of how many Winners are determined. Winners are solely responsible for all federal, state and local taxes. Winners may not substitute, assign or transfer prize, but Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute a prize (or portion thereof) with one of comparable or greater value. All prize details are at Sponsor's sole discretion.
Nevertheless, no matter if your solution was correct or not, (IMHO) everyone who came to the uF Forum had a great time reading all the posts from the regulars and guests and therein lies the prize!!!

Well, since they're not being picky on the address and the site tracker here shows almost 30,000 visitors in the last 24 hours, and I can't imagine anyone out there got this wrong or couldn't answer it, I'm guessing the "prize" to each person really is less than a dollar.

I think that there are many people that went with the curvysand answer, one can hope!

Also, do we know for SURE that the other alias answer...what was the guys name...Robert Johnson...would be considered a right answer. If so, where was that posted?

My guess is about $5.00 per person.

111 main st

Cherry, Curry, Curvy, or whatever the heck he said, that was all a diversion

There is hope yet! This guy won the 25,000.00 question! Rolling Eyes

On www.savemyhusband.com since the morning of the 12th. They even put it in bold print.

And toward the end of the page, they confirm the address comes from Zendorel.com, without being specific as to the address. I'm pretty sure it's 8 Cherry Street, however. And those who left off the number would be losers.

I still think it was Bibby St.

I don't think Andrew was kept at 111 Main St., because that is the address of the graveyard, and the place that Andrew was sitting in the chair all taped up was definitely not a graveyard. It looked to me like a train car because of the width, length, and height of the room. And I still think that only the Bibby St. address looked like it might be associated with a RR. For those that still think RR stands for Rural Route, well, that would be true, but only if the RR was in front of the number and not behind it, and only if the word St. was not put at the end. IMHO

MY THOUGHTS

i believe that the every body who got the first part of smh.com right are finalists, and they have to find Sonia so that there can actualy be a prize, and they do not spend 25,000 just mailing the prizes. Just my opinion.

Whenever i visited sonias blog it said there had been over 40,000 views, and that was on like the 5th day.

the room he was being held in was made of concrete and train cars are not made of concrete.
