FINAL TWIST IN GOODIS CASE

From the Daily Voice News

FINAL TWIST IN GOODIS CASE

In a stunning conclusion to a kidnapping case that rivited the nation, Detective Roger Kinlan has resigned from the police department. Kinlan, who had overseen the department's investigation into the Andrew Goodis kidnapping, had come underfire after it was revealed that he had routinely ignored important evidence provided to him by the Goodis' family and proved incapable of solving a case that many have claimed a child could solve. In addition Frank Caluori has announced that he is suing the department for being arrested without probable cause by Detective Kinlan.

However, Kinlan denies that he is resigning because of criticism or the lawsuit. "After 20 years on the force I have decided I want to spend more time with my family. This desicion has nothing to do with the Goodis case." When asked what his plans were now, Kinlan responded "I'm going to Crapplebees. I love their french fries. But, my wife is going to have one of their weight watcher approved meals. That's what great about Crapplebees they have something for everyone. It really is good eating in the neighborhood."

Note: The Crapplebees Corporation is the parent company of the Daily Voice News.
