 		nothin' to do
Once again this week, I've found nothing to do. Am I correct in my belief that Foss' area is still locked? Or does one of the keys I picked up earlier open it?

I was about to ask the same thing. I couldn't find anything to do. I was certain that this week we were finally going to be able to go past the pile of rubble and through Foss' door. Did we ever use "the small silver key,"?

hmmm. The small silver key is called the furnace door key. I figured if we'd gotten to the end of the firewalk without it then we couldn't have gone into the room with the furnace. only thing is, on the map that's called the 'boiler room', so i'm not absolutely certain either.

I don't recall the silver key saying anything about a room. It is called, "a small silver key" when you select the key from your inventory. Now the other key, which is gold or copper colored is called Gold Furnace key when you see it in your item bag. When you select that key it reads, "a small gold key for unlocking the furnace." As I said I don't specifically recall the silver key being mentioned as having a purpose. I would, however, agree that the timing of when, in the story, you receive the silver key, lends itself to the implication that it is intended for the door to the furnace room. Since I picked the key up before doing the firewalk challenge, and the door simply opened when I got to it, it is entirely possible that they key opened the door automatically. That wouldn't be unusual though wouldn't it? I can't recall ever having to actually take a key or the Latnok ring out of inventory to unlock either door or the Urn of Adam Baylins ashes. Hmmm darn, and I thought that I was on to something.
A couple of points that leave me pondering the end game possibilities for this incarnation of the KyleXY game:
1. The show only has one or two episodes left and it seems like we are barely into this game.
2. The training exercises seemed to match up, vaguely, to what was going on in the show this season, and I was under the impression that this game was going to give information that was related to this season
3. There, once again was no discernible exercise this week, or even a clue in the PDA as to what would be coming.

How do they plan to wrap this up? Is the game going to end or be on a long hiatus once the show ends? Are we going to have a chance to get into Foss's room before the season ends. Is ABC Family busy revamping the game for off season play, (with clues for what to expect in season 3)? Why does the Calendar always say July?
Just food for thought.

I am 100% sure the silver key was for opening the box which contained the keyboard. I had to reformat my computer and lost all game progress and I used the silver key specifically in order to open that drawer.

Ahh, that does sound familiar. Any ideas on where they are taking this game through the end of season 2 and between 2 and 3?

Hello again, it's been a very long time. I participated in Kyle XY Season 1 here on the unforum and just checked back online for the first time since the season's ending last year. I made an account on Clue Tracker and got up to the third gem shard (btw, is that as far as it goes as of yet? just making sure...)

I just have one thing to add that I'm pretty sure hasn't been discussed yet.I know this is very vague, but I believe I remember seeing a very important someone in one of the earlier episodes. When in Madacorp, I distinctly recall seeing a man wearing a name tag that said:

John Smith
Security

I'm quite convinced I saw this, but unfortunately I can't remember what episode it was in. Bang Head I think it was one of the first times we saw inside of Madacorp, but I can't be sure. Anyway, if someone else has seen this, or this has already been posted, please say so.

The third Gem shard is as far as the game goes right now, for whatever reason there was no new challenge or instructions this week, (possibly because Foss is being held at zzyzx). Hopefully we will get new game info on Monday.
I saw the John Smith id tag as well, I only noticed it because I am a fan of "The Dead Zone," on USA. I did not play during season one, so I may be missing something. Why is John Smith important?

I noticed the guy with that tag also. I thought that it was Foss who had that false tag. Or it may have been the guards at madacorp, which all seem to be the same guy. I beleive John Smith is the name of all the guards at madacorp. I think they have all been cloned and that is why they carry the same name.

I just did this weeks test and..
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
after going into foss's locked room playing the card game, and opening the safe it gave me a shard!

Only it said shard 3! I am certain I already had 3 shards. and for some reason I have two copies of Adam Baylins Files. I am not sure if this is because I started the game over under a different name, (to see what the silver key did when we were all talking about that last week) or what. Does anyone know how to fix this? Has anyone ever had the game mess up before? Also in my messages the last message was the one called seek balance or something like that. There was no message about the memory game on the desktop that gave another shard.
This week should be shard number 4 right? Please help me if you can.

But at the bottom of the page it asked if you had ever visited any of these sites

the first 2 are kyle sites of course but the last is from Greek which doesnt matter

 		 AHHHHHHH
I TIVOed Kyle bc I had dance and when i got home at 1030 it had only recorded the first 3 minutes. So i was bumed but i was like ill just go watch it on the computer.No! the new episode is not on the computer.

How exactly did you open the safe. I cannot figure out how to switch. I think i know the combination since I get the same set of coincidental cards each time I play the card game. How exactly do you switch positions on the safe, so that you may put in the second and third number?

How exactly did you open the safe. I cannot figure out how to switch. I think i know the combination since I get the same set of coincidental cards each time I play the card game. How exactly do you switch positions on the safe, so that you may put in the second and third number?

Also, I checked my inventory, and somehow I already have Shards 1, 2, and 4... Can anyone else attest to this? Maybe some of you didn't play the info game on the computer...
