Sounds good.

EDIT: The tons of Halo-related material on his site do suggest a definite involvement in the game. That phone number is starting to look enticing.

From Avery Fane's professional page:



The filename of AR's new avatar is Chrysopteron -- another name for the goddess Iris.

From the Wiki article on Iris:

"Iris is the personal messenger of Hera, queen of the gods."

"Iris is represented either as a rainbow, or as a young maiden with wings on her shoulders."

From AR:

"Who is the path of light from blackest Earth to brilliant heaven?
On whose golden wings will we fly from here to there?"

AR also responded specifically to the word "iris".

Finally, I'm no horticulturalist, but is Avery holding irises (iris flowers) in that pic? Could he be the messenger AR is alluding to?

Sounds like a turned off cellphone.

Or maybe a phone line waiting to be activated at a certain moment...

EDIT: The iris-wing connection is interesting. Definitely worthwhile. and interesting to boot.

Whoa!

Did this and the countdown went all to zeros. But the text stayed the same.

Definitely local. But the text probably changes when the PMs change it. Or it's server side.

 		The suspect Avery Fane picture, at the very end of his portfolio has some "image info" attached to it, which states: "Hamasaki Ayumi knows whats up".

Hamasaki Ayumi is apparently a female Pop star in Japan, according to my base google search. Leap?
