Ideally, sure, but the comic page was up well before it was ready for access.

True, which means they aren't as slick as we'd hope for Smile
but that's a lesson that can be quickly learned, if the PMs are flexible enough.

I think theres a difference in the comic being up early, and the servers being up early.

The difference is, one of them is perhaps meant to be found a little early, and the other is crucial, pivotal data that is only meant to be revealed in some sort of big event.

All of this is merely speculation, though. I have the highest hopes that we can crack into the servers early.

The ARG PMs have been sloppy of late. And I hope they learn their lesson and do not put up content on their page before they are ready for it to be found. I enjoy the puzzles. Smile
But since they have not excersized any form of security or tightness with the game content so far, I am going to try to get some info in the manner I have talked about anyway.

And as for gaining feedback such as links and things from the server, I was not planning on something like that at all, instead I was just going to try and spoof an xml file with attrebute value links to the content on the servers that I guess myself Smile based on the entries that will be in the xml behind server 1. It is pretty low in probability of working, but who knows, I might get lucky.

Ok, a bit off-topic, but Bruce, your sig link to the Halo 3 wiki is incorrect. Not a big deal, but for the greenhorns it might be irritating. Smile

Well, at least it happened to them at the start and not for the finale...

This is getting crazy, because either there are wackos killing this ARG, or the PMs are taking ARG clues and putting them in crazy places.

Can't do it from here at work (stoopid offiss) but perhaps someone should search YouTube for "society of ancients".

that's sweet... in this case, I don't think it really matters or not if it's official. It only reached those who were around, and the only accomplishment is possibly getting people to go to the website. If it's official, that's a nice tactic; if it's not, it accomplishes exactly the same thing, getting people to enter the rabbit hole Cool
