Someone in a group of mine says that the clock is no longer running off the computers internal clock.Not sure if it's true though.Also,was I the only one who thought of MySQL error when they read that?

Can anyone just visually figure out how much faster it is counting down? Is it double time? If so then we only have one week left instead of two?

This puts a bind on anything dealing with the summer solstice.

About 1 real-time minute for every three minutes on the Log?

Well then, this count down might end pretty soon. I wonder who hacked the countdown and why they made it faster?

This higher ranking being that AR spoke of seems to be making quite a mess now.

I thought the same, but brushed off a MySQL error as anything. It might just be a reference to AR being hacked into and his own database being destroyed.

Well lets take the case of whoever mentioned before of triple time.
How long would it take to expire?

If he has been hacked and\or taken out. Did he leave something for someone then? Like he said he was going to?

Hmm... I messed with my computer's clock, and it still doesn't read 00:00:00:00 until the 21st. However, when I set it forward only two days, the clock in the site stopped moving.

When I refresh the page after a couple of minutes pass, the countdown time goes up again. It is as if my computer internal clock is affecting the page until I refresh and get a server side setting for the timer.

Hmmm.....

This seems to be true. I attempted to re-try the earlier experiment by setting my local clock forward, (being an admin on a college n/w helps) and saw that the system was broken.

Things will come to light faster.

Until the server side clock they are using goes to zero, the site will not be affected. Sadly.... I want to know what is hidden in there. Very Happy

I opened up the clock.swf file in flash. I output the variables and got the following:

Variable _level0.clock_mc.endTime = [object #11, class 'Date'] {Thu Jun 21 00:00:00 GMT-0500 2007}
Variable _level0.clock_mc.newTime = [object #12, class 'Date'] {Wed Jun 20 00:00:00 GMT-0500 2007}

My guess is that its been bumped up to tomorrow night at midnight.

But why change it from the connection to the summer solstice? Maybe we found something early that we don't even know we found out about early. Smile

Or the PMs are figuring out that the pace needs to be faster in this ARG to keep people on their toes. Very Happy

With all of this going on, maybe Microsoft is doing this to search out new hires to test out security on their next Windows they come out with. Laughing
Gotta hand it to some of you, I'm impressed.

I just opened up the source info for the page and it appears that things have changed (besides just the text) from the last time I looked at it....can anyone verify this?

AR and the new entity have different objectives it seems.

Yes, there is a new clock variable that points to the end time being tomorrow night instead of the night after at midnight.

Variable _level0.clock_mc.endTime = [object #11, class 'Date'] {Thu Jun 21 00:00:00 GMT-0500 2007}
Variable _level0.clock_mc.newTime = [object #12, class 'Date'] {Wed Jun 20 00:00:00 GMT-0500 2007}
(Thanks to BoonIsha for finding these code changes)
