Actually the Halo Blinders are serving us fairly well thus far. Everything's been directly related to things we see in-game and in-book.

Sorry guys, this isn't another I Love Bees.

I'm completely cool with that. It seems that the PMs are giving us another arg that's more in line with YearZero than ILB, and, as such, has done away with the long-narrative format. They're giving us pieces of events, and from the kind of stuff we've already seen, they're going to focus on the last days of the Forerunners.

They have a very tragic mythology. The gods themselves, brought to self-sacrifice by their own demonic creations, which they tried to destroy but failed. There's something very beautiful and very sad in that.

There's no email address. You can't join SOTA.

You can't. The email address doesn't actually work, and the last time I looked at the site the email links didn't even link to an email address. They just left the email fields blank.

There is an email address that can be found on the SOTA membership PDF. It's DoYouGrokSPLATsocietyoftheancients.com . All emails directed to this address had been getting bounced back, but I'm not sure if anybody has tried it recently. And for those who never saw the Membership Application Form, here's the link: http://societyoftheancients.com/sota_images/SOTA_membership.pdf

The general consensus is they are OOG. I do NOT believe they are related to the con artist by the same name. I think they were just examples of personal home pages. Otherwise, why have them link to each other? The only connection between him and the ARG is the misspelling of a single word. I think that the SOTA website misspelled words not as clues, but to give it an amateur feeling.

I did send SOTA a pair of emails last night, and they both bounced back.

Do you grok is typically slang for do you understand. The working address will answer some question that they are asking and replace doyougrok.

Re: SOTA Membership E-mails Rejected
Anyone else gotten relay errors?

Forgive me if this has been tried (42 pages is a lot) but how about DoYouGrokSPL AT societyoftheancients.com

The other question is what SPL is and what they are asking in we understand. Does the site explain?
