tbh I'm still not sure on any of this, or what it could mean, and am hoping he'll reply soon and give us new hints. also, for the record, what i sent back:

High school student, senior, waitress, short, dark hair, dark eyes, pale skin. Into books - a big fan of Marquez, especially - and poetry. Into modern art and often moved to tears by paintings. Very into perfume. One younger brother, two cats. (Not so much into cats.) Is that good? Or was it more along the deepest-secrets line you were looking for?

Well, Sam, my name's Jason Scott. I have a little sister who I'm very protective of. I won't let anyone cause her any harm. I play several sports including baseball, hockey, and soccer. I play goalie for hockey and soccer, which is how I got my nickname "Spidey," since I seem to have 8 arms and legs to keep goals from being scored. Right now, I'm rehabbing from a weight lifting accident that gave me a shoulder impingement. That's all I can think of off the top of my head. If you want to know anything else, ask.

My clue's T.

Scott,

Thank you. Tell me about your depression. Tell me, why do you fear God?

Got an O. Maybe we should do these in the same order as the Follow the Leader puzzle. If everyone's cool with it, I'll start making a Word doc for it to see if it works.

EDIT: Here's the reply I just sent him.

Quote:
Mr. Deercot,

My depression sank in when I realized I wasn't the best at everything (a thing that, as a young child, I really wanted). So, I ended up on the complete opposite spectrum, thinking that no one could ever love me because I wasn't worth it. I thought my life was really not good enough for anybody. Not my parents, not my teachers, not my friends, not anyone. I hated being alive. Twice I held a steak knife to my throat, wanting to end my life, but I couldn't bring myself to do it for some reason. Looking back, I can see that God was stopping me because He had a much better plan for me.

Concerning my fear of God, I think it's a necessity in order to have a relationship with Him. I'm not talking about a run and hide in a corner kind of fear, but rather a recognition of who God truly is. I realize that God, in His righteousness, deserves to send me to hell. I deserve all of His wrath, but instead, He poured that out on His Son. And for that, I love God. And through my relationship with Him, I get to live in His power.

By His Grace,
Scott

Stuff about myself...very boring

Quote:
I'm single. I've never been married. I have no children. I am a dispatcher/driver manager for General Motors. I am also a creative writer in my spare time as well as an avid game player. I love puzzles and cryptograms, although I'm not as experienced as the other members of the group. I have an excellent sense of humor and I'm an easy going individual who takes things as they come. There's not too much that will suprise or shock me. I am fascinated by buff men in masks and black t-shirts. As far as religion is concerned, I suppose I am an athiest. I do not believe in God, but I do respect other individuals and their beliefs in a higher power. I communicate well with others and am constantly striving to learn anything I possibly can in this life. My favorite channel is the Discovery Channel. Man, I love Mythbusters and How It's Made. I live at home with my parents at the moment in order to help them financially. I'm unsure of exactly what it is you'd like to know about me because I can tell you a lot.
