Heh. See? It's still happening. I'm not Lt. Adam. AIs are frequently wrong, that's why they get to call me that.

Wonder where that guy is anyway...

No matter whether or not your name is Lt. Adam or The Adam or anything else, you shall always be Lt. Adam to me... Because i'm stubborn.

~Hell yeah!~

A blast from the past:
Quote:

Report: 06:11PDT, Cleveland

It's a phone call.

In the interest of speed, here's my retelling from IRC:

<sfsdfd> Short answer: It's a recording from Melissa
<sfsdfd> Short answer: I think she's looking for someone who knows her name, and if the answerer says it...
<sfsdfd> ,...soimething else happens.
<sfsdfd> But I didn't say anything - I was busy trying to repeat everything to au_frank Sad
<sfsdfd> But
<sfsdfd> here's the text of the call.
<sfsdfd> "Good - you're there!"
<sfsdfd> "I'm going to tell you who I am, and who you are
<sfsdfd> this part is sketchy, but I'll do the best I can
<sfsdfd> "The ship is damaged, and so is my hard drive
<sfsdfd> Either "I don't know who I am" or "But I'll tell you who I am"
<sfsdfd> and then, "and who you are"
<sfsdfd> and then something like
<sfsdfd> "But first say my name" or something (I don't really remember)
<sfsdfd> and then, silence for like 20 seconds.,
<sfsdfd> 20 secs of silence - I thought it was dead
<sfsdfd> and then, "You don't know my name!"
<sfsdfd> and then a bunch of "I love bees! I love bees!"... etc.
<sfsdfd> and then, dead.
<sfsdfd> I think that's it.
<sfsdfd> Female voice, btw.

It's a recording. Definitely a recording - you can hear it start and stop.

So it's looking for a VOICE RESPONSE. Based on the discussion, I think the proper text is: "But first, TELL ME WHO I AM, AND WHO YOU ARE." And then a pause. Presumably, you say "Melissa" and... maybe the coords page code word?

AXONS GO HOT! heh. That's all. Good luck, everyone!

- David Stein

Regrettably, I couldn't deeply participate in ILB once things really got going. I activated a few axons, but the (perceived) threat of losing my professional day job and failing my grad school classes forced me to take a more passive role. I read the updates, I listened intently to the radio drama, I visited the forum on occasion... but that's all I could be - an observer.

I'm hoping to change that this time.

Anyway - good seeing you folks again. =) I'm salivating at the prospects of this one.

- David Stein

heyo!

I'm reporting in just in time, I think!

Back at the previous gig me and my good buddy Engel tracked down a phone located in the world famous San Diego Zoo

sadly, he's no longer with us, but I know he'd be on this like he did back then and I'm determined to follow this one all the way to the end.

Motoss here. Avid beekeeper (never crew unfortunately), back for this one. Unfortunately I am REALLY busy this summer...

This ARG so far is letting me down just a little. It seems to be more computer interactive and not real-life interactive like ILB was. I guess they wanted to try and nab people other than us Beekeepers this time?

I'm still here. I actually came back a few months ago for the heroes/Sector 7 ARGS. I'm back on board for this though.

Hey everyone!

Just checking in.

I'm still in school (NIU), also I'm trying to start up a small IT firm for small businesses.

I still have my lanyard from the ILB live event from chicago... And I just found the CD that they gave out.

Hope everyone is well!

Captain Lady Kata reporting in. Answered phones in Palo Alto and attended the S.F. ILB event.

Since then, had a bunch of RL events happen to limit my time on the internet, but I'm back to help with the new Halo ARG. Very Happy

jellyfish_green here. Funnily, none of the ILB phones were in Ireland, & by the time I even found a payphone for Melissa it was all over. Here's hoping for plenty of interesting leads (and free time) this summer.

woo! coffeejedi! Phaedra!

And also: everything2.com, search on "This node should be filled with bees!", for something I made.

I was a gigantic lurker for ILB, too dumb and or slow to solve any of the puzzles. One of my sentance fragments sent to ladybee777 came back imbedded in a .jpg, that was pretty wild.

I think I met hitshermark in the DVD line @ Universal Citywalk.

I still think about ILB quite a bit and hope that won't be my downfall...

Nice. I remember all of us being so nervous when they didn't seem to come outside right away.
