[SPEC]Possible new number connection
There is a possible new number connection for this ARG- Read 1st post, please

I have followed this ARG since approx. 6 days after ARs first post on bungie, and have fevently looked over every page for clues to things such as the identity of AR, how to contact SotA, and so on. And i think i found something.

Anyone reading this knows that Bungie has an almost unnatural obsession with the #7. And, thus, we have searched, in this ARG, for connections with the number 7. however i think that the number 51, or possibly 15, should be carefully considered as well.
 • on the Sota members page it says that the total membership of Sota is 510
 • The original Server 05 page, before the new posts by AR (w/out the clicks), coincided with the opening of server #1 on the Halo 3 site. This could possibly be chalked up as a simple error on Bungies part, but i don't think that they make errors that big with things like these
 • The original countdown site, before Server 05, had the IP address 206.16.223.65, yet, after the server opened, it simply redirected to the IP address 206.16.223.61
 • ARs latest Topic was stickied and locked at exactly 51 posts. in the past his topics have usually been lstickied and locked at posts of a significant number, or atleast mathematically significant numbers. this leads me to believe that 51 is significant as well
 • On the flood Slides retrieved from Server 05 , the numbers on the filename, and the picture itself were 070507, and 070107. while this could be read as dates, July 1 & 5 of 2007, it also be alternately read as relating the numbers 1 & 5, or perhaps 51, with the mythical Bungie #7. this argument may not be entirely rocksolid, but it's something to consider.
 • EDIT:Also, I've just been informed that the second FCC call is exactly 51 seconds long
 • i'm sure theres atleast one more thing that should be listed, but as of now it escapes me

this may not be important.
but, then again, it might be the most important thing. please, correct me on anything i've messed up.

P.s. has anyone tried pinging the IP addresses used in the ARG? i have, and didn't get a response, but that may be due to my slower-than-frozen-molasses dialup connection, i don't know, just checking.

edited to add [SPEC] tag ~rose

Trout Oh wait, someone's first post actually containing a theory not already in discussion? Give me that trout back...

Interesting thought. Seems a bit far-fetched, but intriguing to say the least least. Let's keep our eyes open to see if any updates happen today (given it's the 5th).

Probably totally OOG but http://206.16.223.51/ (xna.com) is a Microsoft site of sorts. Funnily enough it relates to gaming though.

Now that's a bit of a coincidence there. Or maybe too much of one...

Nice find. 15 or 51, eh? Guess I'll keep my eyes open.

One glyph - five spokes?

Or the little u-turn connecting the nner rings could throw this one out.

It's just a coincidence... XNA is one of Microsoft's game development platforms. They probably set aside a couple dozen IPs for Microsoft Game Studios, and that was probably one of them.

Another thing to consider is that so far all the calls to 888-778 5672 all lasted 51 seconds in length.

Good point. I noticed this the last time I called the FCC number.

Isn't 15 one of the numbers in the FCC glyph pic?

Hey

Ok im gonna give you one of my posts to show my idea and then add something at the bottom. ( its kinda long)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ok guys there are a few people that are interlinked from the irc chat to deal with ARG i am one of them i think you guys are going more in depth wth the code but most of us have been here i believe i am newer but still. im not sure but there was an AdGlyph( you can see it at http://halo.wikibruce.com) and there are numbers going around the glyph i had an idea of how the lines go out and were the numbers are at took the numbers put them together as cordinates but there were five. There was one that i could trust to be something i took it out. Took out the 0's like you guys did with the countdown and i found something on google maps. A place in Canada. There is a little more behind this i dono what led to the Containment Control Center, but there also was a phone number(1-8880778-5672) there is some message that plays and has an echo to it like it was tampered with on purpose If you press *(star) while the message is going, a voice says"please enter your password followed by the pound key" this message has stuff to do with something cant find out what yet but maybe if we find the password put it in it will take us pretty far not sure. Back to the adglyph and Canada find. Here is a link(http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&a mp;q=15.129.15.12&sll=50.915318,-102.467165&sspn=0.02 6137,0.079823&ie=UTF8&ll=50.919377,-102.467165&sp n=0.026135,0.079823&t=h&z=14&om=1) you will notice that in the message from above they do mention from 0-8 but are missing 5 and 9 through out the message. The streets for this place in canada are 15 and 9 there is a 5 and a 9 and it says Cana No. 241 ( add 2+4+1=7 bungie has used this a lot before) the weird patterns on the map might have to do with something not sure yet. But this is all starting to relate good and i think im on to something. also i did something with cordinates before and found some where in africa on the right side coast. thought it was useless, untill now i went to look at all the pics again and the AdGlyph has ciement and moss in it the ciement and moss show a certain part of the right side cost in africa ill put some links to show.

AdGlyph- is at http://halo.wikibruce.com/outline

Here is a pic showing the similarity between the Adglyph and this part of Africa from what i said above. (http://s130.photobucket.com/albums/p268/CrazyMidg3t/?action= view&current=idea.jpg)

And here is a link to a pic of how i came up with the order for the numbers. ( http://s130.photobucket.com/albums/p268/CrazyMidg3t/?action=v iew&current=idea1.jpg)

If i have something then good if i have a little bit of something help me. I have spent hours on end reading through ever page on two threads on this forum about the arg . The begining thread and this newer one to do with the servers. Plus the other stuff that im telling you about( you mgiht already know it)

But all i am asking is for some help or some opinons! Please

~Curtis, pheww my head hurts.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

ok in that i did say something about in the phone message ( 1-888-778-5672) also they say almost every number from 0-9 but they do not say a 5 or a 9, this is throughout the whole message. Here ill do something with it right now...

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Op (British Female): Welcome to the Strema Conferencing center. Please enter pin number followed by the
Caller: #### (131#?)
Op:Password accepted. Now accessing conference archive number 16180, participant 1-2.

Man 1: ...is necessary, and neither is the doc download.
Man 2: I agree. This isn't going to be a public resource. Uh, pass on the document number so I can delete it
(pause)
Man 1: There's no way to tell yet, Jaimie's looking into the records to find out how many closed sites there are, but as for active clean up, somewhere around 3-4 thousand. Oh here it is. Uh, Hold on. 402-K-07-002 and in terms of numbers most of these are past the PPE stage.
(pause)
Man 2: With a few exceptions: site 34. . . .
Op (American Female): --Thank you for calling. Goodbye.

see there is 0,1,2,3,4(no 5),6,7,8,(no 9). Weird how a 5 is missing and a 9 , also 9-5=7? weird or supposed to mean something?"
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

also in my post above i say something about the adglyph and the numbers.

the possibilities are ( 15, 129, 1[/b[05(109), 50, 102(104) ) i explained how i got this in my post thingy above. So i tryed my diferent combos with taking out the 50 cuz it didnt seem like it was realy there so. then i took out zeros to make cordinates. Searched and in my post above i also said how it found a place in canada. No.214( add 2+1+4=7) also this place was next to the roads 15 and 9

the cordinates i used were this list ( 15.129.105.102) which would be ( 15.129.15.12) notice the 15 twice and nines. all relating.

so yeah there it is i thought i would try to get my stuff out to this part of the forum to.

array recorder data slashes

The number of forward slashes in Array_Recorder_Data.txt near the beginning is exactly 204, which is 4 * 51. This doesn't seem significant, though.
