If it were me, I'd find some program that lets you root through the directories on the Zune from a PC.

Red vs Blue movies came exclusive to Zune devices. Maybe the hints are in this movie

Well if anyone knows of a program to use I'll do it. Just one thing tho.
All the halo images and videos preloaded on the zune are only viewable on the zune. the pictures do not upload to the zune program provided.

Well, obviously, I would look for any glyphs. But you probably did that already. Aside from that, I would look for imagery resembling the halo3.com comic--those crab-shaped craft with the three lights on the front, or new images of the Ark.

Come on guys, this is an ARG, we won't have to buy anything. But, a strategically hidden Zune at a live-event would make a lot of sense (and provide a cool piece of swag for one lucky player)
I'm not saying this is going to happen, and past games indicate a thumb-drive or flash-card instead, but data files on "found" physical media are a staple of the art form.

Another sugestion connect your zune on a 360.

if you have a flickr account and you can't find anything, try uploading the original files there, then the community can rip them apart

I'm 30 minutes away from bungie studios. I don't need them coming for me.

Interesting thought, perhaps one of the SOTA guys at a rally has a Zune with it's wi-fi going. Maybe transfer some Zune data to others in the area. Unfortunately with as little support for the unit as there is I doubt it. Love my Zune for music but the video marketplace (as much as the unit kicks booty playing videos) is non-existent.

I'm pretty sure that this gallery has every picture that comes on the Halo 3 Zune. I've had a quick look through, but I didn't see any obvious references to AR/Iris/SOTA. Now all we need is for someone to rip the photos from the Zune and we can give them a closer examination.
EDIT: fixed the link
