as for legality, that's arguable... some might say that the contents of the zune aren't licensable... read whatever terms of use there may be and whatnot. If there's nothing saying you're not allowed to share the content, specifically, then fair use, if you can access that information. It's like modding - that's not illegal; it breaks your warranty, but it's not illegal because you own the hardware. I can only see it being illegal if the every single file on the zune is licensed and there's a user agreement you inadvertently agree to buy purchasing and opening the system. Even then I can see it for software, not likely images and sound. *shrug* IANAL, so someone would have to look into it.

Stegdetect(yes it can be unreliable) detected that the VoiShip image was stegged using jphide(two stars!). However, I wasn't able to make any further progress on it.

looking through the pics, i don't see anything. but some do show Cortana in pain/trouble.

off topic:
the zune is a nice piece of hardware. my friend says it sounds better then the ipod [i can't tell the difference], and it works with the 360 [video, music, pictures].

also, you can hook the zune up to any computer and share unprotected music with anyone. ipod doesn't allow you to do this. so i can emtpy my zune's library onto someone else's pc and then grab all their music.

Actually, you can do this with an iPod, albeit with third-party software like CopyPod. I have an 80GB iPod Video, and I love it.
