Does anyone have, or can anyone grab a mirror of the old sites (in whatever form) - maybe even from Google's cache before it changes. Might be useful in future in case we need to refer back to them.

Happy to host them on my webspace for now if needed - they're only small. (Plus, watch this space for wikiness... :)

New Wiki

In an attempt to rescue sanity, I've started a wiki for this one. So far there are some odd smatterings of things - I've trailed through this thread and put together an initial draft of what's happened so far in the 6op1libra side of things (the NN/AA side still needs doing). mason has been superbly uploading all the images we have so far.

The address is: http://www.exmosis.net/6op1wiki. Feel free to sign up and edit away.

If Eric's reading this, feel free to add your own bio details Wink

with regards to the St. Thomas location, best I can tell it is pointing towards a place called Carean Hill although I can't seem to find any info on it.

This is according to this map

It could also be the location where 6op 1 Libra was seen as it is near Charlotte Amalie which is a popular Caribbean cruise destination.

highfivegame.com is updated with "Deceit" in white letters over black, with the title "118." "found" is gone from the Doctype. Also,
<META name="obfuscare"
is added.
Similarly, 6op1libra.com is updated with "Threatening" in black letters on white. "Lost" is gone from the Doctype. Also,
<META name="missing"
is added.

EDIT: "Obfuscare" is Latin, I believe, and translates roughly to "to darken."

yeah also did a search on obfuscare, and it actually turns out this has been researched previously on this site: http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=14522&start=30

Seriously... 118?

Regarding 42, 1, 18, 76:

Factors are...

Code:
42    1    18   76

21/2  1/1  9/2  38/2
14/3       6/3  19/4
7/6

Or, maybe:
U/B  A  I/B  ??/B
N/C     F/C  S/D
G/F

On 42 1 18 76 as well,
42+76 is 118.
I'm not finding any patterns in the numbers, yet. I'd forgotten all about that sequence.

also just wondering, I was messing around with both sites and went into the /cgi-bin/ path. Anyways what exactly is this? I kind of looked around and they both lead to the same postings on the guestbook

http://www.highfivegame.com/cgi-bin/guestbook/guestbook.html
(6op1libra page has the same guestbook)

There is one guest named Paul that lists a website
http://paulwoodmusic.com/

Now these logs are from a long time ago (2003) and probably have nothing to do with all of this. Might as well put it out there for the experienced to decide.

I think it's fair to say it's OOG. The only thing I could think of that might relate is the mention of a Paul from earlier. But that's a fairly common name to begin with, and after looking at PaulWoodMusic.com, nothing shows up there that would help our cause.

Looks like some old tests of a script. Nice find, regardless.

Bleuch, the HTML for the new pages is disgusting as well Smile were the old ones that bad?

Heheh, I was watching a film last night which took place largely in a hotel room. It was pretty disturbing when the room number kept coming up as 118...

Possible 118s I can think of right now:

* January 18th (too obvious/used)
* 1 hour and 18 minutes
* Bible chapter/verse
* Where the centre of the Bible is
* UK directory services: 118 118. (only thought this as 411 came up in NN)

Interesting catch on the 42+76 things, DelVillan.

Just noticed that Eric's LinkedIn profile page is no longer valid. I'm guessing this was OOG. IIRC, this also provided the link to xperience communications, so is it reasonable to assume they're OOG too?

Or has it been deleted for a reason?

Probably nothing, but I just wanted to point out that the font size on 6op 1 libra and the highfive site is 42.
