There seem to be a lot of references to the family CORVIDAE, so far.
Raven
Magpie
Rook
Probably just a coincidence.

They are smart birds Smile

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corvidae#Corvid_intelligence

Quote:
Based on a brain-to-body ratio, the corvid brain is the largest of any bird, equals that of a chimpanzee, is roughly the same as a dolphin, and is only slightly lower than a human. Their intelligence is evident due to the long developmental period of the young. By remaining with the parents, the young have more opportunities to learn necessary skills.

Another recent study suggests, "their cognitive abilities are a match for primates such as great apes." While the study notes that their brain is structured differently they have the ability to make geometrical measurements. Some Corvids demonstrate the capacity for imagination, something that only humans were thought to possess. For example, they remember the previous relevant social context, use their own experience of having been a thief to predict the behavior of a pilferer, and determined the safest course to protect the caches from pilferage.

Members of the corvid family have been known to watch other birds, remember where they hide their food, then return once the owner leaves. Corvids also move their food around between hiding places to avoid thievery, but only if they have previously been thieves themselves. The ability to hide food requires highly accurate spatial memories. Corvids have been recorded to recall their food's hiding place up to nine months later. It is suggested that vertical landmarks (like trees) are used to remember locations.

Looking at the act of thievery in the corvid family, it has been suggested that birds will take their experience as a thief and use it to predict other bird actions of thievery. This explains why, if a corvid has committed thievery, they will take extra precautions (such as moving hiding places) to avoid being a future victim. Being able to predict others' behaviour based on one's own experiences is another trait previously thought unique to humans.

It may be unimportant, but it's not so much an anagram as a walking through of the text from the beginning to the end highlighting the letters in "thanks", wrapping at the end and starting again at the beginning. (in case that kind of process comes handy in this effort, someplace else.)

It is "QARY" using a Mod26 process. Though that doesn't seem like anything relevant.

A good summary, hazl.
The only thing I could add, ATM is that the whole Raven/nevaR thing might make our username or password "lwo" (As if we needed any more variables to plug into our access attempts).

Well, I can see the correlation between DNA and that one genetics website, I guess.

I made a wiki for this ARG. I'm not sure how useful/organised it will be, but I've entered the 6op1libra.com page details into it.

Feel free to edit as you see fit:

Hey, guys. I've split off all of the posts that I could find which were related to AugustineA as they are not part of this 6op 1 libra thing. Nomen Nescio discussion is now here.

Are we definitely sure these are unrelated now? Personally, I'm quite convinced, but it mucks up my theories about linking "AA"s to genetic maps... Wink

Are we ever definitely sure of anything? I can only assure you that I am convinced. Wink

Eric's response after I asked him if he was c2c2, and how he knew Nick:

Quote:

No - c2c2 is the developer of of the 6op 1 Libra code. That's all I
know. I have nevar met nick. They have black collared me.

Nevar is the key to something. "Black collared" means they (Nick + c2c2?) hired him on the black market.

A google search of "black collared" and corvidae turns up the black collared jay. So, another bird to add to the list?

that manuscript page is from the Archimedes Palimpsest, specifically from "On Floating Bodies" (image can be found here about 3/4 of the way down)

This belongs here. It refers to: http://www.highfivegame.com/found.jpg
