Metabird's Murder Mystery?
Time to call in the Big Guns

This is another one in Second Life for you who play there. At first I thought it was an ARG but turned out it's open promo.

This is the ad for it in SL's search:

Murder Mystery

If you are a puzzle fun, try our interactive Murder Mystery. It is a game in which you play a role of... well, yourself... an accidental witness who finds himself/herself more and more involved in a murder case (or is it really a murder case? and if so, who was the victim?). The game plot progresses as you reveal hidden clues and objects. But don't expect to "randomly" come across with the clues; you must also whip your analytical power into action. The game should be fairly challenging even for experienced players. But if you ever get stuck, a walkthrough is available, and it will still be enjoyable even if you didn't solve the puzzle all by yourself.

Mostly Wicked, Metabirds (123, 197, 23)

-------------

So I went there and landed in a pretty small "concrete lot" of sorts (that fit on a basic 512sm parcel)...with stone structures. Looked like little 4 walled rooms, some stacked on top of each other. Nothing inside them.

Well, suddenly these structures began to disappear and reappear around me. Some were different in build - solid walls, two open walls, one open wall, ceiling with a hole in it, floor with a pit in it, that sort of thing. I wandered around them and found one wall with this writing on it.

These underground chambers were discovered on February 21, 2007 immediately following a Richter Magnitude 7.8 earthquake that destroyed our original store. Some speculate that they are in fact the long lost Chambers of love, which are said to contain hidden treasures.

I noticed the structures sitting curiously on tops of others so flew up and saw they look very similar to legos...the long ones had stuff in them - one seemed like a strange bar, one was a little shop with AI sort of items, another had nothing but stacks of crates with a strange symbol and what looked like Vodka on it; and a couple in the center of the floor had a whisper script that suggested "sit on me" - but when you click to do that, the boxes vanish, followed shortly after by the whole structure.

Outside, hovering around them I noticed the tops of them contained letters and numbers. It wasn't part of the texture so it was laid there for some reason. This is what I saw so far:

LXB
S22
XZ (z?) - part of another structure covered up the last letter/digit
S14
S60
S23

And more curious, each time one vanishes and returns, it shows a different number on it. On the one I got pics for, it was first S32, then it went away, came back and the number was S51 and again, another on top of it was either S12 or S13...

I have no idea. So I went to the stone wall with the writing about the earthquake and in front of it is a modest rectangular hole in the ground so I jumped down in it and found myself in a stone chamber....with various wall shapes disappearing and reappearing, some covering or revealing very tight paths between walls or at corners of them.

In exploring, I found a hovering orb "moon" and clicking it presented me with a "moon" object. In another area was a hovering orb "earth" same deal. On one wall was a sign that had a script style "y" on it. Clicking that gave me a notecard about a clue for "z" and a treasure hunt and other clues at other locations in SL. On the adjacent wall of the "y" clue there is some faint circle symbol. In another dead end room is a small pyramid spike thing that doesn't appear to do anything but if you sit on it, a whisper pops up of "owl says you can see better at night" or something close to that. In another area are 4 stone pipe looking things and if you 'sit' on those you get the same owl message. In another room there is a small square hole in a wall and in yet another is another circle symbol and a wiggly trail from the bottom of it.

In another area are two walls pushed close together. At first I thought it might be a mistaken position by whoever built it, then it dawned on me to change the lighting inside the chamber and force sun to midnight.

That illuminated what was a faint scribbly thing on the wall in the light into a trail that, by panning up the wall, looks like a map and above it are heiroglyphs that I have no clue what that says. I took pics and will share them here...and I happened to find them by panning up and down the wall as if looking down through the water up top, otherwise from the ground perspective it's not really visible enough to notice.

So far I haven't seen anything about a murder mystery but the codes on the structures and in the chamber are curious...thought I'd come see if you codegods could provide a little light on what they say...
