Just to make sure we're on the same page here, are you talking about Transmission061607.mp3? The one with at least 3 voices speaking the same dialogue and spooky music in the background? Because it sounds like you're describing something else. Did I miss another sound file?

no, you've got it. but i personally think more than 3 voices are associated together in that file. check out http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=19732

Didn't know where else to post this, so here you go:

http://www.mediafire.com/?7sxmyzxi0fi

All of the media in one place. Videos, text, images, audio... you name it, it's in there.

updated glyph in language select screen from server 5 site

has anyone noticed that the updated glyph appears here. maybe it gives a clue as to why it now looks like it does in starimage1.

It's different from the one in StarImage1 too. In StarImage1, it's the upper-left quadrant that's missing with the inner arm extending outwards to the circle at the end (does that make sense? eh~ you've probably got the picture, check it out).

I am asking where did you get those 2 extra lines of text? They were not visually in the video were they?

Yes. They were. They were only present a few frames each; you have to freeze-frame the video to be able to read them. They're there, though.

I put a world map overlay onthis image to show that a couple of the glyph looking circles in this image over lap over africa. this image is some sort of map, or guide to where important forerunner technology is on earth.

any thoughts on this?

Here's my theory:

The SOTA glyph is the Halo/IRIS array in a dormant state, that is, it's the default symbol for the system.

The other glyphs, with one segment on the external ring open and a linear segment running from one of the inner circles to a smaller circle indicate that the array has been activated. The segment is the line of communication, or transmission (bounce path) to the remote installation (Halo), and the small circle is the Halo ring itself.

Couple that with the overlay of the star chart and one would be able to ascertain the position of each Halo ring in the galaxy.

The center circle in the glyph, is of course, IRIS.

5 Severs...

5 Sections to the Glyph

Section "1" (of the glyph, clockwise from the top) is open in the map view (country select) Which we'd assume since on Halo3.com it tells us that Server 1 is unlocked...

Section "5" (of the glyph) is open in the Server 05 Page Which is a good conclusion as Server 05 is what we are looking at.

So, what do we think about this?

/me goes back to look at the MC's visor images to see which section of the Glyph was open...

Update on my SPEC:

There are only five segments. Perhaps this is the sowing of the seeds. IRIS sending out genetic material to five planetary bodies?

Just throwing thoughts out .

And yes, five servers.
