There should be a Buffy arg. Sorry for going off topic. Also, I keep thinking back to that commercial with the 2 kids lying in the grass. It seems kind of wierd. Like maybe there's something more to it. But I don't know. I'm new to this whole thing.

most reports call the kids in that commercial Spartan 117 - John, and Spartan 087 - Kelly. It's a good inference. And they ARE looking at the stars, talknig about aliens. (like the forerunner? mayhaps?)

That whole thing kind of made it seem like those 2 kids were here in the real world, and the Halo world could come over and... I dunno, maybe Master Chief and the gang will come to the modern day world/time/dimension. And maybe that picture of the stars with the symbol is the view they are looking from. I'm stretching here.

The thing is, if it's John, it's almost certainly on his original home planet rather than training, because they're wearing normal clothes and have normal haircuts. Neither would have been kosher during training.

I know it's OT, but the way the meteor streaks across the sky in the commercial is eerily similar to the one that does so in the Log5 video.

Not really, they've both got the same clothes on, and the book doesn't mentioned their hair changing for a good while AFTER their shipment to reach.

because this thread is so off topic, and because my idea on this text file is quite big + is more to do with the hidden 2 lines of text, i made my own thread
