I actually pointed out at HushedCasket that the antithesis of life IS the flood, because Death, as most people thought, is simply an absence, the opposite is a twisted corruption.

So, I agree with whoever said this earlier.

The only reason I'm arguing this is because I strongly believe the Forerunners were NOT striving for immortality, and I don't believe this quote is evidence to the contrary.

the text im referring to is in really short, less than a frame parts in the video + in the forerunner email:

And well it seems obvius that these lines that stand out link – to me it seems like its supposed to read as –

Now I reckon the more emails and servers that are unlocked, the more 'hidden' or lines that seem out of place will crop up, and eventually these lines will end up making a story of theyre own, is there nywhere else these could have popped up, anything on sota.com that seems out of place?

Bungie certainly like the wordy stuff, it seems more than likely that there will be more prose, the email you mention was the original sent out that had the glyph, and the two lines you mention were links to the halo3 website?

We know the covenant want to embark on a great journey and are on there way with another enemy also heading our way, at this point I wouldn't necessarily be mixing sources of information but you never know

It's quite possible that the Prophets are working with some AI-driven relic of the Forerunners, not realising the Great Journey it talks of was millennia ago when they fired the Halo rings as a last ditch attempt to destroy the Flood...
