Thanks. Unfortunately, that Java app only goes up to the year 2200. So unless we have some insanely talented mathamaticians in the room, we need to find another program. Or call NASA.

 		Howdy all, I've never really done an ARG before but have been silently watching this one. That backwards audio stuff was genius, and I'll voice up if I can make any sense of it.

I'm going to venture something else that may or may not be worthwhile. Plenty of the texts we see and dialogue heard seem to be fairly structured, if not poetic. Have any of these poetic structures been evaluated? My thought was perhaps the certain construction (perhaps one seen in Macbeth as well?) might give us another IP address. I'll confess I know little of poetry beyond that much so I really don't feel qualified to try analyzing it as such.

 		iv been lurking for a while and with the poetic since i counted the syllables in the poem but i doubt it could be an ip, maybe it could link to another date? im not very sure but just trying to lend a helping hand

I didn't think about the "foe" inside part.... that would definitely sync up if that's a picture of 343GS.

I just did a mix of the backwards and forwards so that they overlapped, and found that some parts of it make a lot more sense this way. You can clearly hear some of the distorted vocals from the backwards version. If someone can provide a hosting site for the audio, I'll send it to them.

One point I was able to hear more clearly is it does say
"Perhaps through another's eyes you can save us" and then garbles again.

Another interesting area, is if you ignore some of the garbled sound in the middle of the section, in this mix, it almost sounds as though they say
"Take these keys, and unlock the well of history, perhaps through another's eyes you can save us"

I ran a frequency analysis on both the reversed and the forward versions of the transmission, and it looks the same both directions as far as I can tell.
Something interesting shows up on it though. There are at least two waveforms in the in the audio. I don't know if that's to be expected or not, but it does seem pretty interesting to me.

Couldn't find any mention of this so far on the site for this observation:

The filename of this audio clip is:
transmission061607_1182400595

Obvious observations from this naming is that it is a transmission and that it was perhaps recorded or created June 16, 2007 (061607).

BUT, did anyone know that the 1182400595 is a UNIX TIME STAMP which translates into the following "readable" date: Thu, 21 Jun 2007 04:36:35 GMT
