Going dark is not my intention. The people that get from here to there are ok. The only people that can "register" in the forums have to have read the username/password post here or gotten them from someone who had.

All we have to do is be "in character" which you all are doing a great job of!!!

We are talking about a "member only" forum. This might not happen. However, I don't want to be using unfiction as a discussion forum for our site.

Any ideas? PM me.

I will be posting up an "Announcement" here but I'm hoping that a mod will sticky and lock it for me. I sent a version of it to thebruce but no reply yet.

Reclaimers makes me think Proclaimers every time I hear it so the site should play 500 miles in the background. .

its alright. we probably have a few months of this arg. I understand the need and desire to do something entertaining. let's beat around the bush for a bit longer.

Even if you don't take it completely dark, would it make sense to delete the post that has username/password info??? We could just make it into an invite thing, so that some random kid from bnet can't come on and post inappropriate comments. Maybe an invite system would be too much work?

Another concern: how often do you want "news" posts? I've spent a little time doing research and have, actually, made a decent Ancients argument through legit online articles (with a little time we could make the SOTA site look like it's run by five year olds.) Heck, we won't need IRIS at all to make our points. There's enough source material out there to provoke real outofcharacter thought on this.

Right now I have five excellent articles in reserve but I don't want to flood the forum...on the other hand, though, putting them in the same thread would make discussion seem smaller than it actually is. (And we want to LOOK legitimate, right? )

Maybe one per day? Also, if you need any writing done for the site, please just email/PM me. I'm a creative writing specialist, actually.

I lurked there for a while, made a few posts, but those guys are insane. Conspiracy about everything. Go to ancient civ's at the bottom left and ammo galore.

I think that the Reclaimers site is great! Sometimes I like it more than unfiction (jk, kinda)

Hey, has anyone noticed that since we're supposed to love SOTA, why has no one gone to the former countdown page, which now forwards to the server? Hopefully someone will correct that little "plot loop". I'm not, though.

PS: the link to the countdown was on SOTA, and still is.
