I was just poking around on the sota page, and in firefox if you right click on the webage, just under view page source you can choose "view page info" and it gives a modified on date and an expiration date... I admit, I have no idea if these are what they seem like they mean, but I checked a couple of other websites and none of them had expiration dates...

SOTA's expiration date is June 27, and was last modified on the 14th which if I remember correctly is the day that the circuit city ad was leaked. Does this mean we can expect something to happen on the 27th? I'm clutching at straws here, but I'm anxious for something new to happen.

I noticed that yesterday. Clear your cache and go back to the page and the date and time will have changed.

It's nothing.

Good catch! It may or may not mean anything at all, but luckily we'll only have to wait one more day to find out.

Oh well, had that faint glimmer of hope for just a moment. Then Bonusuk had to go and snatch it away Wink

I just started but kept seeing stuff about a david george here. So I googled David George, and got a thing on PBS about a slave... And some of the stuff points to africa. Here's the link: http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/aia/part2/2p61.html Probably nothing, but worth a look.

I also found that david George from Sota was from Normal, Illinois. Link to the city. This probably isn't anything either though.http://www.normal.org/

hope that link worked.

Mr. Elliot seems like he likes movies. other than that i found nothing more on him.

P.S. it seems like there is a strong emphisis on this portion of text. it could deal with something eventually.

"Our very first bit of evidence is the scientific principle often expressed as lex parsimoniae, better knows as Ockham's Razor. This principal basically states "All things being equal, the simplest solution tends to be the best one." Well, the question the Society has asked itself is: What is simpler to explain, that ancient humans made extreme leads in technology and social advancement for no reason what so ever? Or that there was a reason, a hand that guided the swift change.

Keep that in mind"

The simplest solution at the moment is that we need to wait.

Believe it or not, it's been a week since the last real movement on the game. I'm hoping that it settles in for a regular update that way ILB did, so that you can plan a bit for it, and have downtime between to work on stuff.

Granted, bi-weekly is better than weekly.

Here's hoping we at least get a weekly update today...

I was checking in MSN Search, and found this:
http://local.live.com/default.aspx?v=2&ss=wpid.WA684776942_david+george_Normal%2c+Illinois&style=r&s_cid=ansPhBkWp02 Possibly THE SOTA david George?
