 		[Spec] Link to 1-18-08?
I emailed this to Rose before, but I decided I would make a thread about it just in case:

I have been away for couple of weeks and Im just trying to catch up with everything Ive missed.
There is a new trailer that was released before the Transformers movie, I'm not sure if you have read about it, its a new film by JJ Abrams (the Lost guy) the trailer is here, and its pretty awesome:

(hope this is still working)

On another forum somewhere, there was wild speculation that this could be a film about Cthulhu. (Thus the "Its alive! Its huge!") Its also set in New York. - The trailer reminded me of the whole 'city burning' thing.

I was wondering if this could possibley be related to Eldrich Errors? I feel a bit silly making a new thread for it! But here it is anyway Very Happy

 		The 1-18-08 trailer is being discuss ad nauseam here.

As to a link to EE - I highly doubt it. Main reason being, in the ARGNetcast featuring Brian Clark, he stated pretty clearly that this project was going to be "self-sustaining" and "a 2 year story arc".

 		Yeah Ive been following the thread in news and rumours, it was through that I did a little browsing, and came accross the Cthulhu theory and decided I'd ask in here.

The film isnt out until Jan 2008, so theres a year gone already.

I just thought I'd post it, as you never know until you ask! Very Happy

Yes, like I said it is a new film by JJ Abrams. But noone knows what it is yet, and I came accross a theory of it being linked with Lovecraft and decided to post it on here. To either dismiss it, or delve further.

 		My impression is that the Ethan Haas game has more references to the Cthulhu mythos than the 1-18-08/Cloverfield movie trailer -- and I'm still in denial about those two being the same project.

Cthulhu is practically in the public domain, and we'll be seeing the subject pop up in more entertainment outlets, including a movie starring Tori Spelling which has already been screened.

Either way, our Eldritch ARG is not promoting a movie.

 		since it's pretty much agreed 1-18-08 isn't related to EE, and there's an extensive thread already discussing it, I'm going to close this one and direct people to the 1-18-08 thread...
