Thank you, thank you, thank you for helping find my husband. You successfully solved the 8 Day Mystery and will receive your share of the $25,000 reward. If it weren't for the dedication, smarts and persistence of people like you, Grant would still be walking around a free man and I wouldn't have my husband home safely.

I was really surprised - and touched - by the amount of interest in my husband's disappearance and by all the support I received. Over 30,000 people tried to help me and my son Max and 6,013 actually solved the mystery all the way through. I am working on sending out the reward money.

I hope you got something out of it, too - beyond just receiving a reward. And don't go too far. I have a sneaking suspicion that things are still not right, what with Sonia's disappearance and all, and next time things could get a lot more complicated.

Thanks again,
Christina

 What a windfall

Gee, I've made a lot more than that doing surveys. But then, they're not fun, either.

That should just about cover the cost of gas to drive to the bank to cash the big reward check!

Got email today saying I won...was apparently 6,013 winners (that comes to $4.13 per person. Was supposedly 30,000 enteries and 6,013 winners. Email led me to believe that we will be searching for Sonia soon and it will be "more complicated. Congrats to all winners!

...the official rules:

Quote:
Potential Winners may be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release and, where lawful, a publicity release within seven (7) days of date of issuance.

Where do we get the affidavit...??

 Mystery 8 Day Challenge

Laughing I got an e mail tonight saying I was one of the 6,000 who won the 8 Day Mystery Challenge out of the 30,000 who participated so that makes me.................$4.15 RICHER. Woweeeeeeeeeeeeee!
Probably get an Applebees coupon or something.
My answers were Grant and 8 North Cherry Street.
I hope to participate in some more games in the future on this site which I was introduced to by the game.

Affidavit
Potential winners MAY be required....

The key word for the affidavit is "may". I suspect that they had no idea there would be so many winners. Had there been 5 or 10 people sharing the $25,000, they probably would have gone through that process, but with 6,013, each getting $4.15, it would be kinda silly. So it looks like they will just be mailing out the checks. HOWEVER, that said, I have a feeling that they are going to make the Find Sonia game MUCH tougher, aiming for a LOT fewer winners. Then I bet they use the affidavits. LOL
