 		Just my 2 cents of whats gonna happen:

The rules state that the sponsors can change the prize to something of equal or greater value. So my thought is that we will be receiving an applebees coupon via e-mail. (I'm also hoping applebee's will up the prize to $5 to make it easier on their servers/system)

Like Cass said, I think that they were expecting very few winners, hence all the stuff in the rules about the affidavit and such for those that won "big" money. Another instance of where they underestimated the ARG community.

My guess is that more people DID get it right, but then used their "second chance" to put in another answer. I believe the second answer over rode the first one, therefore a great many people messed up their win by doing so.

I got it right, and now am going to be $4.16 richer (it rounds up). May not be much, but it is a couple of Slurpees for the hot humid days of summer, or it will get me 2 eggs, toast, and a glass of ice water at the local Cracker Barrel!

I did answer 8 North Cherry Street, but did not receive an email yet. Did anyone else not receive one, or did I make a typo and not get it right?

I answered the Cherry St. answer for the my first guess but when back and changed it to the Curvasand address for my 2nd chance.
I did get an e-mail saying I was a winner.

I won! Here is what the e-mail I received said:

Thank you, thank you, thank you for helping find my husband. You successfully solved the 8 Day Mystery and will receive your share of the $25,000 reward. If it weren't for the dedication, smarts and persistence of people like you, Grant would still be walking around a free man and I wouldn't have my husband home safely.

I was really surprised - and touched - by the amount of interest in my husband's disappearance and by all the support I received. Over 30,000 people tried to help me and my son Max and 6,013 actually solved the mystery all the way through. I am working on sending out the reward money.

I hope you got something out of it, too - beyond just receiving a reward. And don't go too far. I have a sneaking suspicion that things are still not right, what with Sonia's disappearance and all, and next time things could get a lot more complicated.

 		I also answered Grant Tenbrook and 8 North Cherry Street. I didn't receive an email yet. I'm hoping I do receive one, since I did all the work myself. I didn't stumble upon this website until after I answered. Not saying there is anything wrong with helping each other (great idea in fact) but this was my first game online and I really took it seriously. I must have taken about 20 pages of notes and info from all the websites. Now I know better! I can just come here, lol. Congrats to all winners!

I got the same email. 6,013 winners will split $25,000.00 by my calculations that comes out to $4.16 apiece.
I haven't decided what to do with my winnings...Hmmm? Maybe I'll open a shelter for battered pygmy elephants or make a donation to my favorite charity "CannabisForLife" or maybe I'll take that long deserved vacation...you know, the one I put off until my third and youngest child was safely away at college. [two more years!! two more years!!]

Maybe I'll sock it away for a rainy day??? Confused
