Sorry for the double post, but I really do need help. Is it safe to use a real number? I don't mind a few calls on my cell phone. If I give a fake number, do you think they'll call it?

And on top of that, I've never made a resume.

i'd say it's safe to use your cell. Just be sure that you know what you want to say and how you want to say it when you get the call (eh, overstated. be clear, but natural. "I dunno" isn't gonna cut it.)

as to the resume.... be reasonable. list personal information (fake of course) like name, age, background, etc. List a college and program, your major/minor/etc. (again, fake). list employment, previous work experience, and be generous, yet humble, as to how good you were. make your employment sound important and moderately difficult (you don't want put that you worked a cubicle job). also, don't send until you've found someone to be your contact, and make sure that that person will build on how good you were. work out a pseudo-script for the person to follow (not word for word, but the general idea). oh, and yet again, all of this? Fake.

if you want to, put in extracurriculars for the college info, community service, summer jobs (like labor. labor is always considered a good "character builder" on resumes, as is leadership positions, like camp guidance counselors).

There you go. this might be a good post to put on the wiki as a guideline for other people (not to be modest or anything Razz)

EDIT: also, for both, when you put the contact information/your cell phone number, put a time frame for contact, and make sure you are near your phone for it. daytime hours are best, but you could pull a "different time zone" maneuver and say you need to be called in the middle of the night. if you want.

CURSE OF THE EDIT: oh, and welcome to unFiction Sharp!

MORELAAK AND THE TEMPLE OF EDIT: well, looks like i'm going to need some people to work as contacts for me! I need someone who can sound like a working class man (bricklayer to be specific), someone to act as a Summer Camp Director (laid back attitude, cheerful, you get the gist.), and someone to sound like a shady VIP for a shady company specializing in "Information Acquisition, decryption and analysis." PM me, we'll talk.

You can do it! I have faith... Mr. Green

Alright, seems pretty obvious that I'm not going to get phone references... So I'll need e-mail, and hopefully they just won't ask for phone references.

Ah, I considered that, then I realized that they'd figure out that two applicants knew each other and were claiming to be two people. I've got no idea what they want, so I just gave e-mail addresses which I own. I can only hope they don't ask those e-mail addresses for phone numbers.

If I had another number I was willing to use, I'd gladly help you out, but my cell is all I'm gonna risk. Just sent my resume.

Also, I've got no clue who nothingisrael is. I got just enough info in a pm to get sort of into it, but I don't know what's happened.

Could someone update me on all the major parts of the story please? I really don't want to have to wade through completed puzzles.

this trailhead is pretty new, first contact with Frank was in late June, so it isn't all that indepth yet. you should catch up while you still can. the first few pages of this thread have a lot of info, and you can kinda tell which posts aren't as important in the middle.

looks like we're going to need to put up a wiki at some point.

Sharp:

VERY shortend version:

Frank IM'd Godson2k7, saying "Oh god, we're all gonna die, I'm trying to take down ARMC and they're trying to kill me! But not to worry, I've got a gal on the inside."

Then we sat on our @$$es as we all tried to get hired by ARMC.

Find The Blog!

WE FOUND THE BLOG!

BANG! No more Frank.

Sharon says "Don't call me Sharaon, call me NIR, and oh yeah, ARMC is actually the guild of assasins."

So now we're waiting for more information from NIR....

Oh, and you need to go on aim some time. I'm sure that's a much faster way of communication.
