Congrats to the two above posters.

I was thinking, the symbols that were used for the caption
Quote:
Watergate? Kennedy? Investigate Furrther^^%^%$!

The symbols, if typed out normally become "6656541" Does this mean anything to anyone? "Investigate further, 665641" A command?

I think you may be onto something there. Those symbols are definitely suspicious, I don't know why I didn't pay attention to them before. Even the extra 'r' in Further could be a clue, not a typo. I tried using the string to desteg the Photo10 file (with and without the r, shifted & unshifted), no luck.

Did you try with and without the Exclamation mark or number 1? Just ^^%^%$ or 665654?

Tried it with and without the !/1, I realized it could be punctuation, or not. I still have doubts that the PMs would have stegged an image that was only up long enough to be seen by one person.

I just got off the phone with the ceo. He asked me for my information and said he'd get back to me in a week.

What kind of info did he want from you? e-mail, address, etc.? Did you give out fake info?

Ok, I may be grasping at straws here, but I'm begining to gather thats what you do with these games....

In Iris (Halo 3) They use base 7 alot, All I know about that is none of the didgets are higher than 7, could someone trasmit the 665654(1?) into base 7, and see if that does anything for the stegged image?

There is a new link on the ARMC site: "Help me help you." There is a picture of a painting by Yuri Martinez (http://www.yurigallery.com/). The title of it is "Just me and my guardian angel." It says visit my blog, with those same symbols ^^%^%$!.. I've been searching for blogs with that artist's name but can't find anything yet.

Ok.... If you go to yurigallery.com, and higlight his displayed pictures, then you get a detailed view of them, but I didn't see anything special.

Also, I did a google search for Yuri Martinez + Blog Nothing.
Then I did the numbers-- Nothing
and the symbols---- Strike three, Yer out...

The painting seems very suspicous.... and ugly.....

Edit HEY! I think I got something

Click on the painting, in the "Help me help you" site you get....

http://armcinc.biz.ly/images/art.jpeg

Then, if you delete "/art.jpeg"

It takes you to a list of images.

http://armcinc.biz.ly/images/

"Guardian Angel" comes up twice once as

"art.jpeg" 61 Kb large

The other is

"yuri_martinez.jpeg" 63 Kb large.

Anybody know how to do the funny "look for a website in a picture" trick?

received another email:

Listen, my time is basically out before I have to run. I was contacted this afternoon by the person who hacked the site. She wouldn't tell me her name, but she called my phone and told me that she was an inside source of ARMCInc. I learned a lot about the company, but my time has literally been cut short. I set up a phone forward from my old number in Pennsylvania, the number is 724-419-4301, call me for more details. I will retrieve my email address whenever I reach safety- don't leave your number if I miss your call and *67 before you call me- I can't allow you to risk yourself trying to contact me.

calling now Very Happy

ETA: Ok so I called our friend and he was pretty nervous with the whole thing and wasn't able to say much but when contacted by the hacker he said he was told the company ARMC is actually a front for CMRA.

He also said he'd prefer if only I called him from here out as he didn't want to risk other people as well. Also said he was from Texas but was in Penn. when this all went down. The website hack part of it is also the hacker trying to give us a place to contact her....so we need to find that blog Very Happy .

Phone call was pretty short as he was in a hurry to get out of the area and was going to get a car when I called.

Well, I ran a anywho serch on the number, no joy.
I called the number and got the answering machine, didn't leave a messege, figured Godson should do that....

He sounded scared and hurried on his messege.

Godson, if you catch him, ask him:
For a password to desteg images.
What ARMC has to do with Yuri Martinez.
Is "She" (the source within ARMC) the one changeing The ARMC website?

He said he was from Texas? If you need, I can do a whole bunch of detective work - I live here in Austin, TX (capital). Also, did he say _where_ in texas he was from?

EDIT: About the 61/63 kb thing - sounds intriguing, but they both are steg-negative.
