I love how the LJ allows us to "peek" at character-to-character "email" interchanges.

Maybe UNB Crew can continue this with some more posts in the LJ accounts (cause us Ravens cannot communicate with our Sammeeeee friends without putting them in danger).

So I'm guessing you know something up. Big-like. And you're probably guessing it has to do with our old fiend Mr. Alan Johnson. Uh, and, you're right. How, you may ask! He is dead! Off this mortal coil! Gone! Er, well, yes, yes, and no. Basically, AJ is back from beyond the grave seeking his revenge and a path back to our world by taking the souls of those who fought against him.

Seriously.

That's what's happening to Ben and Higgs. It's what happened to Peeps and Addison. And it's what going to happen to you three if we're not careful.

There are some things I don't know. What I do know is that some of the sammeeeees have voluntarily given their souls in order to infiltrate and defeat Mr. Alan Johnson. This was done on the advice of Mildred and Dick White. Many of our friends (about 15), such as Kona, Sally, Luna, Lacey, and Red have crossed over.

Do not try to contact them. Doing so could be dangerous to both you and them. They are out of our contact at the moment. Several of us are working with Nedd to try and make sure they stay safe. I'm not sure what we're going to have to do, or how. But know we'll try.

There may be hope for those souls already lost. You have seen how Ben responds to the world around him - he is not completely gone. I see hope for him and for all.

One more thing. The dog. The Dog of El Portal.

Is Barney.

Take some time to figure all of this out. It's really scary on about 800 levels. And most dismayingly, we don't really know if we can trust Trinket or even Patricia. We think they're both OK, but who knows. Dwin knows none of this as far as we know. We think it best if he does not. But he is likely a target for Mr. Alan Johnson, as we all are.

When you feel up to it, we could use some help. This Mr. Gerold Dwin speaks of - do you recognize the name? If you have any questions, please let me know. I will answer them as best I can.

Tell her we're unsure about the dog, his memory is fuzzy.
Dwin gets less than nothing. Dwin might need decoys. She get's Patricia's message.

The last e-mail he sent was one indicating that he had seen the Dog's face, and it was Barney. We are not sure what the Dog's role is. Barney does not remember who he is. He knows he knows us, but he seems to have amnesia, perhaps induced by Mr. Alan Johnson. He may want to help us but is bound to AJ, so to speak. As far as I know, Betty does not know about him.

If at any point I hear anything from anyone about what the Sammeeeees on the other side have seen, especially if they have seen Ben, I will let you know right away. Please, please ask any more questions. If I do not know the answer, I can find people who do. I don't know if you know them, but Enaxor, Drizabella, Dashcat, Jenna, and Tigerlily are among those who have not crossed over and are hiding under the bed with Nedd.

The news about Dwin disturbs me. I haven't been able to put my finger on it, but he is different. I had thought it was living in the new town and new friends that had brought on this change. But, you know, I think Sallyyyyy mentioned she thought something was strange about him. Does this have something to do with the portals? If Dwin is one of these portals or the portal or however these portals work, I now understand what might have happened to Ben. Jayne went through Ben's emails and he and Dwin were in touch over the last few months. This is making me sick to my stomach. And I think Dwin was also in touch with Higgs! I need a nap or another glass of wine.

It's good to know we have Sammeeeees on this side to figure out what the hell is going on. How is dear Nedd? I sure he's under his bed nearly all the time now. This is not Nedd's cup of tea. We must be sure to keep him safe.

How can the Trinity steal souls AND lead to Truth and Light? Trio, Troika, Triunity is what Ben was muttering after he was taken, and Eidolon has used that phrase as well. We've seen it other places, too, I think, but I can't remember where. Are we supposed to now identify the Trinity, or is DoEP leading us somewhere different altogether? Hmm.

Kona mentioned that Mr. Gerold is from Trinity University and that maybe he is part of the Trinity.

EDIT: [SPEC] We know there is a false temple and a true temple, so maybe the Trio, Troika, Triunity that DoEP is talking about is the True Trinity.

So perhaps Mr. Gerold is a member of the True Trinity? If so, how has he resisted exposure to Dwin this summer? (for that matter, how is Patricia still operating on both sides?)

Contact via LJ doesn't seem to be "direct". So maybe just ignoring them will suffice (if she deletes them, he'll know it).

Emails looks like they count as "direct" (like face-to-face meetings or phone calls), while posting stuff on blogs and LJ seems "indirect".

Speaking of face-to-face, Betty was in direct contact with Dwin. What has happened to her?

Trinket is doing really well. She's spending most of her time reading and watching old musicals. (my collection) She's decided to say off the computer for now. It seems like a good idea. Thought it might be a nice thing to do while I have him sitting in the sun.

[SPEC] I'm thinking it was Dwin that has accessed Trinket's pages. He was one of the 5, so he would have been privvy to that information if they were passing it around in Mr. AJ's 'box.' This would get the focus off of him and make Trinket's behavior look even more suspicious. And it worked. We've all been warning Happy about Trinket, but up until very recently, haven't had any reason to suspect Dwin. [/SPEC]

Maybe someone on the UNBC should email Trinket's old yahoo address or post to one of her pages and see if we can get a response? Might help us narrow down the suspect field.

We may have been making progress. Mildred seems to be planning some sort of communication - maybe a seance? We're not sure. We were consider Dr. Francis Kinder or Jennifer Nelson. Mildred said something about people he took in Room 505, though, which might exclude Jennifer and possibly the doctor. One thing that sort of is sitting in my stomach is that maybe Mr. Alan Johnson was lying about knowing nothing about Tutu. Maybe not, maybe he wasn't lying. Maybe he didn't know anything about Tutu. It's just weird, that's all. Some of my sammeeeee friends were thinking she maybe saw Tutu in the garden with Peeps. They're curious, but they know that Trinket might not be stable enough to hear the question.

I also don't know what's up with Dwin. I know you can't go to his Livejournal, but there's an eerie story about him wanting to show little Alan how to climb an apple tree and Patricia stopping him. Patricia's got this friend Mr. Gerold from England who's going to ask him some questions. We heard from Betty (yes, she seems to be OK (although she's still in England and maybe is dangerous)) that Gerold might be someone who can help with all of this.

I'm OK, myself. Going back home to Chicago for a few weeks in July, which will be nice. The rest of the sammeeeees under the bed with Nedd are OK, too, it sounds. Alas, it sounds like Dick White may be in trouble. We have heard mixed things about his health and well-being. It sounds like the sammeeees are on the run. Sad

But we must prevail!

It is with a heavy heart that I inform you of Dick White's passing. Nedd Ludd has let us know of this. We thought the Singing Nun was with him for a while, but it seems that she has gone into hiding since then.

Dwin seems to be wavering between possessed and not. Mr. Gerold, apparently an expert in the Eidolon that Betty met, recounted a disturbing story in which upon the striking of midnight, Dwin's voice changed to that of a man's, and as he laughed, he said something to the effect of "Hang Peeps". But it seems that other times he is fine. His possession is an unpredictable thing, though, so I warn against contact with him still.

Happy, I must also say that it seems like the Dog of El Portal has singled you out as the key to returning the souls back home. Note, though, that we don't know what its true intentions are - it may be Barney bucking against AJ's control, trying to bring him down, or it may be a nefarious scheme from AJ to get your soul. I know you are eager to get your Ben back, save the sammeeeees, and bring down Alan, so I promise that if we find out what is asked of you, I or another sammeeeee will let you know. For now, though, stay safe, and keep yourself protected.
