 		Starting Out
So, how do I start out with this one? It seems to be fairly early, and since I've hit a wall with my other ARGs, I went ahead and registered at Sentry Outpost. However, I have no idea what that place is or what's going on, since I'm jumping in.

Is there anything I can do that doesn't require extensive horror mythology knowledge or computer hacking know-how?

 		Really sorry to be a bother... I read the Story So Far, but that only says what's happened, not what's happening. Of course, there may be nothing, I don't know. That's why I'm asking instead of flailing about like a moron.

 		oh i totally agree. I was actually hinting/poking our players to jump in here and admit that our REF thread is woefully behind. Then again, the PMs' own meta site hasn't been updated since May 21st -- they've killed off a character in the month since then.

Have you been to our wiki? It's another resource for backstory. As for what you can do right now, well, I don't think there's anything sitting around undone at the moment, no matter what your skill set is.

 		Sorry about getting a little defensive, I do that from time to time.

What I'm wondering is there anything I should be doing while waiting for the next thingie to happen? I don't want to be sitting around waiting while cool stuff happens; I'm afraid I'd only hear about it after. I would post around Sentry Outpost, but I don't know anybody, and I'm not exactly a hacker. I'd read the Craiglists, but one, I don't know what a Craiglist is, and there's about a million of them from what I can see...

I'm probably the last person who should be guiding you on what to do next (since I have no idea at all) but I would recommend reading through the CL posts - don't worry about trying to memorise them or understand every single reference, but you might want to watch out for references to the angel, the finger, the ribbon, the old woman, the drummer... the list goes on. The CL posts are discussed here.

You might also be able to help out with wringing more meaning from the watercolour. The discussion is taking place here.

Oh, and watch the next batch of CL posts for references to your dream, of course!
