All right, going with that ... we can do matrix addition if we can break the grid up properly.

Due to the positioning of the numbers, I'm thinking that the middle row might be just filler ...

Code:
[O W X]   [Q S G]
[D H V] + [A C B]
[A 3 A]   [D 4 F]
[W V M]   [L K T]

If we assume that we rotate past the end back into the alphabet, then this gives us:

Code:
[F O E]
[E K X]
[E 7 G]
[I G G]

That doesn't look like anything. OK, let's try with the center column on either end of both grids I guess ...

Code:
[O W X A]   [A Q S G]   [P N Q H]
[D H V K] + [K A C B] = [O I Y M]
[A 3 A U]   [U D 4 F]   [V G E A]
[W V M Z]   [Z L K T]   [W H X T]

Uh ... that's nothin' neither.

scrambled head

maybe we need to be aksing ourselves a few questions:

If the numbers mark quadrants, whay are they not in the order we'd expect?

What is the middle column for if the numbers mark quadrants?

Are we looking for an anagram; if so does it use all letters? If not, what are we decoding?

Here's a novel, if perhaps far-fetched interpretation: The middle column is perhaps not a floating, shared column, but a key. the numbers mark quadrants, but also show how many letters from that corner should be worked into the central column. I doubt this is the case, but maybe it'll help shake a nidea loose somewhere.

Working on a slightly modified form of this assumption, I easily got 1. Front or not and 2. Frozen. not sure how this relates to the rest, and we may want to consider non-english languages--the blog was on a German host and most of the lengthy text I've seen so far sounded like it was written by a high-functioning Non-native speaker of English: fluent, but non-idiomatic.

Perhaps the reason the numbers are not in a logical order is because he's in a time hole and blurred? Maybe it indicates counter clockwise read? Just fishing, I know...

bwaaaahhh Shocked

So now do we read right to left, bottom to top? My inclination is that if this is indeed a scrambled word or group of words, and not some numeric representation or other type of code, we will not be using all of the letters. If it's scrambled *and* substitution code, I'll eat vincent's offspring, you know . . . in the future.

Frozen, zone, front. . . all seem interesting, but the most interesting thing in it so far is that "Vince" is in there. maybe it's a moveable letter puzzle. . .

Not sure if it'll help, but all this talk of quadrants, as well as what some call a plus sign at the bottom of the image(which I see as an x-y coordinate grid) has me wanting to use the coordinates of letters within the grid, perhaps of the word "VINCE". I'm just not sure which way to begin numbering. . I'm also working on eliminating the middle column, as well as the first and fifth rows of the grid to make 3x3 squares around the numbers, and possibly putting the squares into the algebraic order of quadrants, as in:

2|1
3|4

More on this as I (hopefully) find things.

Also, although possibly an easy coincidence to come by considering the length of the words, I also found "ONE" and "GOD" in the grid, each sharing the "O", and adjacent to "VINCE".

O W X A Q S G
D H V K A C D
A 3 A U D 4 F
W V M Z L K T
Q X I O G MO
T J D N E T Z
U 1 C F R 2 N
N J E R Z O T

and

O W X A Q S G
D H V K A C D
A 3 A U D 4 F
W V M Z L K T
Q X I O G M O
T J D N E T Z
U 1 C F R 2 N
N J E R Z O T

One final musing. Does anyone find it odd that Vincent, who is supposedly fleeing the 'one god', also refers to himself as 'the only one'? Perhaps this is just the PM's own continuance of the theme of the situation, or perhaps we don't know all we think we do about Vincent's identity.

Today I've got an E-mail from Vincent. It seems the ARG has ended, and we wheren't good enough to solve the riddles... So, the future is lost.

Quote:
Good day, Takis!

It was a good try, but you all aren't mighy enough to fight the agents. They've got me, and I can't take the fate of world in my hands, because I'm back in my cell, where I just can wait. This is a warning for everyone:
Now you know how the future will be. You can do everything without my help. The humanity can save the world on it's one. Please, don't think you have lost the fight against the evil, you can still fight for a better future, but not with those great chances as we had in the last weeks.
You all together will save the world!!
And never forget to take something silver with you! I must stop the writing now, the guards are coming (I'm writing this e-mail from a PC in the god's room, so it's very dangerous.)

Bye forever, Takis and everyone that wanted to help...

Doesn't seem to be over, as You can do everything without my help..

I'm also getting fed up with the overuse of the word "one" Shocked .

As for my introduction, i am a teenager new to ARGs and interested in psychology.

Let's see....PC in god's room. For some reason, Ender's Game keeps popping up in my head. He also keeps mentioning somthing silver, maybe that's important.

I would never blame the players for an unfavorable outcome. The PM is ultimately the one in control of the story. You could have been fed more clues, or a giant deus ex machina could swoop down and save the day. Either this PM wanted you to fail, or they lacked the creativity to modify their game on the fly.
