Beating at the heart of the Universe.
Skin too thick to be sure.
It's alive though.
I'm certain.
What do I do with life?
My first thought is gravemind, but that's probably not it.
The last line makes me curious. Is that a rhetorical question, or does it actually wonder what to do with life?

I thought that when I read it too =] . But if the "beating" is the new pulse sound, would that make the spinning thing in Server 5 "the heart of the universe"? And does the "skin too thick" mean that what we are looking for lies in the center of Server 5? just a thought...
Skin too thick (on either party) could make it hard to find a pulse. That was my interpretation. I'm not good with finding secrets and hidden meanings in messages. If the click is a heartbeat, it's beating nice and slow. Super Lance Armstrong style.

Well, if it's an AI, it'll probably just scan Myspace and start cutting itself.
I'm really at the point of total disdain for this game.

I feel ya. It's not what I expected either. It's still early, though. I try not to take it too seriously. It helps.. You want what I'm smoking?

Well shit, something finally happens, and I'm still no closer to understanding what's going on.
edit: Am I the only one who can't login to halo3.com right now? It might just be my pos computer, but I figure it's worth other people checkin out. For reference, once I login, it just jumps to 50% loaded and freezes.

If I were on drugs, that'd be some good advice.

lets stay on-topic, guys...This latest AR post doesn't seem like the initial AR, the way he/she/it writes is much less mechanical. Just saying that because people see the name AdjutantReflex and think he's been resurrected -- maybe he has, maybe he hasn't, but it doesn't seem like it.

Well if they still allowed posting in the thread then I would have posted something from SOTA. Stating something along the lines of:
"from where we come from there is a principle called lex parsimoniae or 'All things being equal, the simplest solution tends to be the best one.'"
Just to see if there would have been a response to answering his question.
However, since there AR locked the thread pretty quickly I guess he didn't want a response (or someone gave him a good one). I believe he may want us to ponder over this till his next appearance, or possibly this is just a foothold in the story.

I'm kinda with Rood here. This is getting absurd.
Back on Topic: It seems to me that there's really nothing to find here. It's just a bunch of ambiguous poetry, like everything else we've gotten so far in this game. Let's hope that we actually get something to ponder soon...
However, this does break the curtain of silence we seemed to have had lately. At least the PMs haven't forgotten about us. That also probably means that something is coming soon.

Can anyone see any anagrams mixed in there?
*sigh* I'm no good at those.

Did anyone notice that AR's second incarnation never said "leaving"?

"I will not be here to witness the clarity" TOMORROW.
"I am for another place and another time. On my terms." sounds like, "I'm taking a week off, I'll be back to update the game after a while. In the meantime, take Server 05 and go spec some so you don't get bored."
This is definitely verified in "Be seeing you."
At first we thought he meant our ancestors, but maybe indeed he meant us. There's nothing keeping this AdjutantReflex from being the entity who performed the sterilization.
At least in my opinion.

Is there a way to verify whether this is real? Doesn't Bungie take it down if it isn't?
Am I the only one who thought of "rock and roll" ?
The heart of rock and roll is still beating?
So back to substance:

What is gravemind? Can you elaborate for those of us not in the know?
Does the timing of the pulse make sense with this new post?
And, I can log onto Halo3.com without any problem. It seems slow to load, but I have a new modem and it could totally be on my end. Anyone else having the same issues?

Probably best to Wiki it or better yet, play Halo and Halo 2.
Basically, it's the intelligence of the Flood in physical form.
