 		I sent a very similar e-mail, got the same reply, Read. Also, the rorschachs journal morse code has been updated, it now reads

 		She was killed and there were a lot of witnesses, but nobody did anything because they were all afraid of doing something to intervene on their own.
It's called "bystanders effect," also known as "Genovese syndrome."

Rorschach said he "Stood in the street. Watched it burn," so he's obviously suffered from Genovese syndrome, but we still don't know what he saw happen. That'll be our next lead, I'm guessing. I'm going to email him again

I've strangley starting reading the watchman in the library near my work.

I've not finished it but i dont want to ruin it for people who have to read it so Ill put it in a spolier

Rorschach turned into a crime fighter due to the death of someone like Genovese. They might have called the character that was murdered the same name but would have to check.

The only people he would kill are criminals

 		Sorry, meant to add this to my post earlier, The real life murder of Kitty Genovese is recreated in the comic Watchmen, and is the reason that Rorschach gives for turning to a vigilante hero lifestyle.
I would highly recommend reading the comic, it is fantastic.
