wait if those number formats are for a halo3 zune, then perhaps they refer to a specific halo 3 zune.
Doubtful. They're part of the graphic on the hardware (which means they're probably the same on all of them).
Still wonder what this means though...

Hmm, maybe we should consider an altruistic perspective He/she/it may not actually be lacking anything.

I believe it would be more appropriate to interpret this passage as that of a personality that has dedicated itself to service.
You choose a life of poverty when you become a priest, a monk or a nun. Willing sacrifice for a greater good or higher purpose.
So, he/she/it may not be lacking something but is still not among or not with us.
That is why he/she/it is asking if we will wait.

Anyone have a Halo Zune? Maybe that string is some kind of hidden file or image on it or something? How are the Halo images on it named?

Another thought - is this some kind of riddle? If so, could it be some kind of "evil" entity or something that has suffered, or chosen, a fall from grace?
With poverty being a spiritual kind of poverty? I don't know, like death or the devil? Maybe??/

If that is the case, is it maybe a guardian or protector of some kind? I just don't get the priest or monk vibe from this thing.

perhaps the numbers after the <@> signify a specific serial number on a halo 3 zune. I mean the formatiing of this message and that of the art on the halo3 zune are just too coincidental, but I don't think the PMs would put all their eggs in one basket so who knows.

53LPH54.6JG62.1740 - possible spacial coordinates?
53LPH54.6JG62.1740
Does anyone have experience with astronomy?
Could this be coordinates for an area of the sky, a planetary system or something like that?

For those who are interested, the Halo 3 Zune comes with preloaded content.
Copies of all of this content can be found here:

Yeah, the art is very telling toward the game, but not much in the way of Iris relation (other than the comic connection).

A bit of spec Here's an idea, but is it possible that the first post was the old AR, and the second post the new one? That he's some how found a way of existing hiding in the background when his matrix was taken over? This could cause him to have less ability or effectiveness, hench the poverty line, and the charity line about us being unable to help him.

speaking of poverty and other darkness there is always Oedipus.
Is that who you are thinking of Tony? (not the Biblical reference of course, but the idea of alms and a blind man?)

I do not require charity or alms
But I did choose poverty
And other darkness too
Will you wait for me?
Just to toss some more ideas out there:
Perhaps AR chose to leave the Halo network and operate independently?
The lack of information that would result could be the poverty. Other darkness could refer to something else that goes against it's programming. And the wait mentioned could be the time it needs to break out of quarantine.
The agent that is responsible for the quarantine could be the main halo network, trying to deal with the problem. However, it is unlikely that the Halo system would find the location of AR's matrix to be convenient.

No one has noticed this yet...
ghost.713 appears to be the entity being quarentined (pardon my spelling).
Notice that after the SECURE part, it says qghost.713
Is anyone familiar with how a spyware removal program or virus protection program quarentines something? Is it similar to renaming the file and moving it to a new location?
