thanks
edit: it won't let me write in anything what am i doing wrong now?
Seconded. I never could figure that out. Also, the membership process happens today right? First day of the new lunar cycle? And could that coincide with the 070107?

Addend to Address (meaning: add to address)
Sorry mate but that's not what addend means - I think you're thinking of append or addendum. Addend means a number in an addition sum .
Also, I'm unsure about some of the letters that have been deduced from the spelling mistakes:
- I've had a problem with "Ambertshire" or Ambershire from day one as there is no place by that name in England. The closest I could come were a few companies in Essex, though I admit I am not great at geography or history.
- I think the capital letters and the erroneous spaces are going a little far. It's just a bit too pedantic given the obvious mistakes in other words.
-The to/too misspelling is so common that I wouldn't be surprised if it's a genuine mistake on the part of the PM team in the same way as the point above.
-The tilde key is (at least on a UK keyboard) directly above the right-shift key so again I think this could be a genuine mistake when trying to type a capital "i" in a hurry.
Given my reservations but allowing the "t" from "Ambertshire" and the "o" from "too". I can get "respond to me at" with dsead left over.
All in all I don't see a) what exactly we should be looking for if this is meant to be a puzzle or b) why the intended information would be found in an anagram of misspellings from the SOTA website.
I get the feeling that all the mistakes can be put down to lack of proof reading or an attempt to make the website look amateurish; just as the gif background is something annoying and flashy that a non-professional would use and the content links resize on a mouse-over.
I don't mean to burst anyone's bubble but I think we're over-analysing here.

It's just a pdf - it's not a pdf form so there are no editable fields in it. If you have Acrobat Professional you could edit it but otherwise you're stuck with a copy/paste in to a text editor.

550 5.7.1 <respondtome>... relaying denied. Proper authentication required.
I think it's interesting that we also get the 550 error from yougrok.com, and societyoftheancients.com ... I had no idea it was common at all. Redct explained on page 3 of http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=19835&start=30
that 550 means that the problem lies with where the email originated.
I understand it to be something like... if you work for a company, you can't email any of the internal email addresses unless you are logged into the company address. I know it's different, but something to that effect.
Point being, while this is actually pretty damn awesome, Angri, I don't think it will work yet. It may be that they open up emails soon (perhaps even today!) and we will have to solve this very puzzle to get the email to work, but if we're still getting the 550 error I don't think it matters what we use as the address.
I'm currently double checking the 550 error, will edit when I know.
edit: Still get the 550
Given the misinterpretation of Addend, perhaps instead of phrasing it Addend to Address, it could be Add end to address. I think the diff. is self explanatory.

Players keep trying to brute-force the mail server, and I keep bursting their bubbles. But, I see no need to waste time and effort.
That said, there's a good possibility that what you're trying to compile is a path or filename for a web address. We saw this A LOT during ILB, and don't forget about the 404 pages! Although this isn't 42's game, the possibilities remain. Because these servers are running IIS, the paths are NOT case-sensitive, which is good.

Possibly Add to address end or add to end address.
RespondToThisNYouGrok or RespondToThis~N~YouGrok
Could mean if you respond to it you will understand.
Just my mindless ramblings.

From the same link-
Addend-
1. any of a group of numbers or terms added together to form a sum.
2. Any of a set of numbers to be added.
I think that that can be interpreted to mean what I said.

Sorry but I believe those have been tried. If there is a way to reach them through these methods, I'm sure that they would have a response ready.
Yes and the last thing reported about them, was that they bounced instantly. The emails that I sent did not bounce. Hence the implication is that we can start emailing now.

That's okay. This is a very frustrating flower that we're gardening so I fully understand. I just figured I'd resend because of the lunar change, and poof no bounciness.

I just opened it in photoshop, and used the text tools to fill it out. Then sent it back.
