oh yeah.... I forgot to mention something. I think I've gotten in touch kail using the let us contact you feature. I sent the basic info to the site and I instantly got a message back from s0p0y0expermientSPLAT aol.com. heres what he said
Quote:
How did you find me? Do you work for The Organization?
paranoid it seems.... but under his circumstances who wouldn't be anyways. I told him how I found him and then he said something that threw me a complete curveball. but before I do that i just realized something funky. The second time I emailed him, his email adress changed. its now s0p0y0expermientSPLAT aim.com . anyways heres what he said in reply:
Quote:
How did you find the web page? Are you the one who got my message on their phone?
anyone want to get called by a fictous character or call one?

Kai's e-mail address Kai's e-mail address I have never played an ARG before and am new to forums in general, so please correct me if I do something wrong as I am trying to learn the proper ettiquette for this type of thing. I thought I would start with a new ARG instead of playing catch up on one that is already well underway.
I have been e-mailing both Kai and Kail. I joined the Rebellion's website and show up as a friend of Kail now.
I e-mailed Kai and told her about the website. He has posted to it now. He sent me back an e-mail thanking me, but when I replied to it, my e-mail got kicked back with the following message:
Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.
Subject: RE: Website
Sent: 7/3/2007 12:21 PM
The following recipient(s) could not be reached:
'Kai Orion' on 7/3/2007 12:21 PM
554 <kaiorion>: Relay access denied
It worked before, but doesn't seem to work for me now. I did send it from work before and now was sending it from home, so the internet connection would be different, but my e-mail address is the same. I don't know if this will be helpful or not. Most of the other e-mails were just repetitive of what was already posted here.
Let me know if I am doing something wrong since this is my first ARG.
Thanks.

update about kail I just got a reply from kail. He mentioned something about phone messages in the previous message he sent me. so I asked him about the phone messages and he said.
Quote:
A few days ago, when The Organization first notice there might be a spy, I sent out a message to a phone number I found on a list of 'potential threats' here at the organization. I figured that they were on Kai's side.
I asked him for this phone number and list of potential threats.

So I just checked kail's site. Kai sent me an email earlier asking for the url to the site. I guess then kai created an account for his site and then posted a response to kail's posts. The response goes as
Quote:
Kail, I'm so happy you're alive! Don't worry, you'll be safe again soon.
I can't believe that The Organization is trying to create another one of him! You'd think that they'd have learned after the last Incident. but, maybe this Artifact and The Triple Zero object are the keys to perfecting him...
Look, anymore information, please post here! People need to know what's going on!
I just created an account for the site.

On the fence do I want to play for the grammatically challenged I'm really on the fence on joining either side in this because I believe the Chairmen (plural?!?) and Kai are one and the same- they make the same semi-literate grammatical errors over and over again (i.e. there for their, your for you're, makes me want to edit their content and send it back to them corrected) they write in the same voice. Is there a third side to be on, one that actually sounds like they can form an inteligent sentence and isn't playing us for fools? Why is this guy pretending to be two different people on opposite sides, what's he got to gain playing us against the middle like a bunch of saps?

RE: On The Fence You're new to ARGs aren't you? The person that set this whole ARG up is probably the only person involved, or there ae two people with different parts. That is why the grammatical errors would be the same.

I was trying to play it "in game" but to get all meta basically I mean I'm not sure I want to jump into a game run by one lonley yahoo with painful gramatical errors and what appears to be lack of foresight- not without some really great mitigating circumstance that says this isn't some yahoo just someone with poor gramma and questionable planning skills... nothing has grabbed me yet.

You're new to Unfiction, aren't you? We have a relatively long history of watching games launch, wither, and die, where the grassroots team consisted of a single PM. Little things like occasional typos and grammatical errors can be overlooked if the game has enough story and action going for it, but it's often the first sign of a crack in the foundation.

Organization's myspace freinds This was a freind on the Organization's Myspace profile.

I haven't fully checked it out yet but looks like there might be a few clues.
P.S. Looks like this is slowing down a bit.
