Don't forget to add your contributions when you know what you're bringing. Helps us plan the table space (and signs).

I'm willing to make some contributions of my own, but it would be self-centered to provide stuff from my own game, no? Laughing

Trying to close a big deal with a customer; if I do, I'll be making arrangements to be at ARGFest soon. Wish me luck!

Heh, good luck on both accounts there! Smile

Here's a Q - anyone know the easiest way to rent a car from the hotel? Do they have a Hertz outpost or something? I'd rather rent on the way out of town so we don't have to pay the $30+/night parking. Shocked Silly

I haven't been able to find an answer to your question yet; maybe Gupfee, who's been in contact with the hotel people, knows more, but I haven't had a chance to ask her. If you would want to contact the hotel directly, their phonenumber is (617) 482-1800.

As a general remark, I'd like to remind anyone interested in using the reduced ARGFest room rates for the Boston Radisson hotel that the booking deadline is june 26. We're almost through the block of rooms we've reserved, so if you still want to apply, quickly head over to the booking page on the ARGFest-o-con website for more info!

If there's more demand for the reduced rates than we have taken into account so far, we might be able to get some more rooms into the deal, but we'd have to know soon.

In the light of this and other planning stuff, I'd like to urge everyone who is planning on coming to ARGFest but hasn't yet registered to do so! This includes the people who have already applied for a room at the Radisson but have not yewt registered for the conference. The sooner we have an idea of the number of people attending, the better we can adjust our schedule and activities to accomodate this number best!

You don't have to pay in advance but you will need to give a credit card number to make the reservation.

Just fyi - I called the concierge at the Radisson and they can have Enterprise deliver a car there for pickup, but their prices are very high ($70/day for an intermediate as opposed to $50/day if you do it yourself). They said the closest Enterprise outlet is on Boyleston St., about a 15 minute walk from the hotel.

Depends on how much you want to pay for the convenience, I think!

ARG Museum is building up the collection for display.

We don't have anything from Dark Knight or Silverladder yet.

Just got off the phone with the hotel and they're saying the block of rooms is full. They gave me the group rate anyway, but if you're planning on booking I'd do it soon!

Hotel Booking Update

I spoke with our contact at the hotel and we have indeed exceeded our blocked allotment of rooms. However, there are still plenty of rooms available over ARGFest weekend and the Radisson will continue to book anyone at the group rate for those nights, subject to actual room availability. If the reservation clerk says otherwise, let them know they are misinformed. If you have trouble, contact the ARGFest planners via the website and we'll put you in touch with the hotel rep.

Deadline for Hotel Booking is June 26th!

Reguarding friday night's Dark Knight screening.... Kona & I were talking in the chatroom, and My thought was that we should maybe buy our tickets to the DARK KNIGHT in advance. Kona suggested that some people planned on going at midnight on thursday and they too would prob need tickets in advance.

Is there any way to have this more organized? I mean, i know it is supposed to be "informal" but.... i'm a paranoid kinda gal, and i've done the "large group goes to movie and not everyone gets in" thing before, being the person who didn't get it. Heck, even if it is just annouced what theater/time we are going to be attending, so we whom intend to go can get our tickets in advance if we would like.

pretty please? Embarassed
