Re: The Dark Knight Screening

Hi! We've had a mediocre response so far to the survey, so how about we up the ante a little?

We currently have secured 75 tickets for the 10:30 p.m. screening of The Dark Knight at the local theatre, courtesy of 42 Entertainment. Tickets will be distributed to registered ARGFest attendees who have successfully filled out the survey, on a first-come, first-serve basis while supplies last. If we have an overwhelming immediate response, we may be able to get more tickets for the showing but they are likely to sell out over the weekend.

Feel like registering now? Wink

If you are registered for ARGFest-o-Con and are interested in attending a group screening of The Dark Knight on Friday the 18th, please fill out this survey.

I have a sudden overwhelming urge to double check that I filled everything in correctly...

Carp. I'm unsure if I filled in the survey with my correct confirmation number, I had to find something that looked vaguely like a confirmation number, but now I've found my confirmation proper. Need to know if I used the correct one or not, since I can't remember what the number was that I used.

ETA: Okay no wonder I'm confused. I've managed to find two completely different confirmation codes: one in the format AAAAAAAA-#### and one in the format AAAAAAAA (different letters to the other one). Which code should I have used???

Is there a page on the wiki for us to sign up for each event (cocktail party, dark knight, presentation sessions, etc)? Do the organizers need head counts?

I may be going to the movie after all. Maybe. Possibly. Perhaps.

So far there's just the TDK survey on the website to count attendees for the movie screening. Conference and Party attendance is counted based on actual confirmed registrations.

To be clear, when you first register using the signup page, it will provide you with a Check Code for use in payment either via PayPal or to write on your check. Once payment is confirmed, you will receive an email with your Registration Confirmation Code, which is the one to use when contacting us or filling out surveys like the Hotel Booking and TDK quizzes.

If you filled out the form with a Check Code instead of the Confirmation Code, it's cool as long as the rest of the info you provided matches your registered info (which yours does, Lex) because we can still find it. This is really just to make sure that people don't sign up for tickets before completely registering for ARGFest. Smile

The community of ARG enthusiasts has grown significantly as more companies look to interactive storytelling to engage their consumers. Sites such as AGRNet and unfiction.com allow these fans to come together and share information on their favorite ARGs or learn about the latest ARG. These two sites have even joined forces to host ARGFest-O-Con, a conference dedicated to ARGs and gamers who love them.
