Just to make everyone who's going aware, at the same time and pretty close to ARGFest is Readercon:

Quote:
Readercon is, depending on your point of view, either an annual literary conference (except it's infinitely more fun than that) or an annual science fiction convention (except we've stripped away virtually everything except talking about and buying books). In the course of its twenty years, it has become the standard bearer and role model for conventions that focus on the literature. A typical Readercon features well over 100 writers, editors, and critics (attracting prominent figures from Canada, the U.K., and occasionally even Australia) and more than 400 of their readers.

I found my Eldritch Errors watercolor and signed up in the ARG Museum to bring it.

By the way, if you haven't seen it yet, BrianEnigma has made available both last year's Buzzword Bingo, but also a variation - Unfiction Member Bingo.

Check 'em out!

YES!! Anyone who got an Eldritch Errors trailhead/watercolor who is coming to ARGFest - please bring it (totally safe by TSA standards). We'd love to create the entire artpiece in the museum display.

Please check yourself off in the wiki and try to put yourself into the spot you hold on the map at the bottom of the museum page.

Here is the painting as we know it. So if you have a piece, you can bring it (or give it to someone who is coming) and we can figure out where it goes.

Bring your (i)Tunes!

The cocktail party will have a music set-up, so feel free to bring your favorite dance & mingle music. We will have a CD player and cables to hook up iPods to the mixer.

Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Wait, are we suppose to "dress up" for this?

Come as you are. Bleach and mud optional.

Must... resist... urge... to ask if those cables also fit the iPhone 3G, just to annoy Gupfee some more... *nnnggg*

I'll answer for ya: probably. Since the dock for the iPhone fits regular iPods (I had to upload music onto someone's iPod nano once Rolling Eyes ) then I'm pretty sure the port there is the same.

My avatar's coming up an awful lot on that thing; since I'm not going to be attending, I pity anyone who needs me.

I wasn't actually asking, y'know, I was just trying to get on Gupfee's nerves ;P

Be sure to load up sad trombone and rimshot on a few of those iPods!

Transportation

BTW, if you're looking for estimated cab fares from the airport/bus/train station to the hotel, or any other routes, check out:

http://www.taxifarefinder.com/main.php?city=Boston

It estimates fare from Logan to the Radisson at $27.91--I imagine that's on the low end of things.

Don't forget xnbomb's transportation page on the wiki for more travel info.

p.s. Giskard is a doodoo head Razz
