Thank you

I had a nice time this year at ARGfest!

I'd like to take a moment to thank the committee for all of their hard work and time spent planning the weekend. Coordinating such an endeavor is a huge undertaking, and I appreciate all of the things you guys did to make it run as smoothly as you did.

I know! I thought the same thing!! Especially after we fest-quested together! Oh well, at least I know what you look like now. Wink Next year we'll actually shake hands, or hug, or fist bump or something.

I had such a great time! Thank you, everyone who helped put this together, thanks to the speakers and panelists for being so inspiring, and thanks to all of you ARGers who are the coolest people in the world. Smile

totally have to echo the sentiments - I think for me the only thing last had over this year was SF is just naturally more touristy... but socially and event-wise, Boston took the cake Smile it was great meeting everyone again or for the first time (faery - also here, fun hanging out even though we didn't really officially 'meet' =).
The event was well planned and came together smoothly even if it was one purple hammock too many (ymmv) Razz
I had an AWESOME time, and it totally made up for the trip back home Shocked

-Kona - you win for my favourite fester this year - insisting on covering our whole group's meal at Cheers, and the shot glass, and your pure awesomeness - win.
-Chix - great to meet you in person, when before you really were just another name in irc I rarely ever chatted with Smile Scotland ftw!
-Jas0n - love your accent! Wink great work on coordinating the Tomb too - such a great event. We need more of those types of places in the world =)
-Bananahammockman - all those really up close and personal photos I took of you and your chest from across the room - purely informational purposes
-Festquest-planners - totally loved the tour of downtown Boston. picturesque, awe-some looking up and seeing so much history in the buildings; the crosswalks still confuse me though =P
-Dave S - thank you so much for your keynote, and it was definitely a pleasure and privilege to have you at ARGfest again this year. *applause*

There's still just so much to go one about (and so many people!)...
Suffice to say, the fact I was able to finally see and visit the original Cheers - my trip was complete.
Until next year!

I feel like I'm just echoing others, but this weekend was amazing. Filled with great moments, fun, and new treasured memories. The best part for me was spending time with everyone. Attending next year's Fest is an easy sell on me.

Hugs and pats on the back for everyone involved. I still am so amazed at how things have progressed and expanded year after year.
As a "professional player" meeting our game designers/puppetmasters is such a treat.

Next year there will be a snigglefest in our room (irc joke).

Geoff - what accent? haha

for everyone though my wife would like to echo all of the sentiments and she says that it was great meeting all the people I always talked to or carried on about while driving in the car to various places. She had a blast this weekend and I think she might would have even started playing her first ARG if she had been sitting near the door for the panels Saturday with bananahammockman coming in... LOL - gotta get her playing when we get the laptop back in running condition and the kids in school

Seriously, my bosses were curious as to why I was going to Boston for the weekend. I told them it was a conference for a type of online gaming I do. And then I cringed thinking, "Oh crap, I think I just planted a seed in their minds as to what I actually do all day at work"

There's your problem - you should've made it sound all wordy and educated.
