New TE email seems to be coming from the correct address now (infoSPLATtritonenterprises.net)

I just looked at the new press release... I don't understand why they still let Nighthawk's bomb exist, but they won't let nerrcom get their show on the road Razz

(For those of you without a humorous bone in your body... I'm at least half-joking right there)

"info@..." is an invalid email address. It's "information@...", even according to the Triton site itself. I tried to respond to "info@..." and I got a MAILER-DAEMON error.

...plus the mail originally came from Van, then they apparently tried to cover that screw up by stating Van hacked the email system...

...plus the PDF has Tom McLaughlin's name in it...

***sigh...***

And, apparently, Kellie is dead after all.

I am not sure if I am more sad for the arg now, or if I was before they started back up.

Well it appears to be fairly accurate for the game (except for Tom McLaughlin writing the PDF release)

Van, or one of his associates, sent out a fake email from the triton site, using a non existant email address (showing that it's not a legit from triton email) letting his followers know that there's still something more going on out there.

The author of the PDF may have been an oversight, not sure, log it as possible information for the future and consider it an oversight for the moment.

And once again, I did not receive the emails.

Used to get them all the time. Imagine that.

it may be that your not on the active list at the moment, try sending a mail to informationSPLATtritonenterprises.net and vanSPLATehtanhaaswasright.com see if that gets you back in the loop.

If it helps, the Triton Enterprises email was filed into my Yahoo trash folder instead of my inbox. I didn't see an email from Van Mantra. But if it came several days ago, it may have gotten thrown out on my end by now.

I also found the "m e m o r i a l" on the second page of the new press release. I did a select all to see what was hidden. Then I saved the document and used Acrobat Reader to search for individual letters.

I'm not sure what to do with the word. Sticking it at the end of tritonenterprises.net in various forms didn't net me anything. Neither did emailing memorial@triton... or using Memorial as an email subject line.

I guess I'll think about it on the way home.

Well, I thought about it a little.

Mind you, there's no way to tell if it's a real in-game site. Rolling Eyes

Dear god, all that pink is blinding >.<

I hope this isn't in game. I won't ever be able to see straight again if it is.

Other than that, good find!

Was created in August. There's no way of knowing if this "in game", a reaction to NerComm or a gamejack.

Thank you Stacey! Very Happy In game or not it's a lot more satisfying than the Triton update. I'll bet Kellie liked pink and I do too (it's a girl thing).

Well, the pink is a bit better than the light-bulb white I'm dealing with in RKP (Red King Project).
I could stare at a floodlight by now.

Not sure what to make of any of this. They spent an awful lot putting together EHWR, and a fair amount on AO, so why would these things appear to be so badly confused? I got the same emails; I don't see the point in them trying to revive the ARG now, especially since they seem to admitted themselves that they never intended it to be an ARG in the first place. It would have made much more sense to just shut down all the other sites or just redirect everything to AO. But nothing about this has made any sense from the beginning.

They had mentioned at the convention having more information to share with the players, maybe they are just starting the ARG back up since so many people enjoyed it. If nothing else we are getting more information about the game through it.

"Accurate"? Why would Van go through the effort of "hacking" the mail system... to send a Triton press release using his name? You'd figure he'd send something a little more meaningful to his cause...
