The second e-mail I sent was base on a section of a post on Erik's blog, the text in question was originally in greek but was translated by others to this message, "I'm sorry for my deep encryption. The Mezin have moved east. They've discovered the twins and exposed her for the women she is. I cannot hide much longer. Twenty two more days. But can we put our fate into such hated visions and teachings? The end is near...i can feel it. You do realize if Ethan is wrong they will murder us all? I wont keep you much longer My daily reporting's are: "the GRass will be mOWed at twelve thirty" Pleas include the above encryption in your message." Based on the capitalized letter it was deduced that the code must've been GROW. So I sent an e-mail to Erik again with GROW in the subject bar and GROW as the message.

The response I and a few others have received to that was as follows

 		My opinion on Erik: Van Mantra told me that there is only one site for the truth -- meaning his.

Therefore, this "Erik" is a fake, especially since he claims to know Van.

I keep mentioning this in "Erik"'s comments and he keeps ignoring it.

 		For now I agree with you bix, as I was reading Erik's blog was I thinking about how the post on ethanhaaswaswrong.blogspot.com was talking about how we are so easily led astray. I'll try and keep in contact with Erik and see if I can get any more live responses out of him.

 		Has anyone gotten anywhere at http://www.tritonenterprises.net/

As far as ftp'ing into the server... It makes mention of that, i suspect a username/pw can be figured out...



P.S.

The ftp server is microsoft FTP which allows(aparently) unlimited username/password entry... That seems odd considering most admins would limit this, unless they want you to figure it out...

That's correct.

Literal translation is:
That which you are unable to see will kill you.

Please let's not confuse the issue. Anyone can post anything in a blog comment section. This is a very common foot-in-the-door for ARGjackers. While all of that morse code might be a fun diversion, it will NOT be in-game. We have been strictly told by the official site that we are waiting until August 1st to use a keycode -- that is where the game stands.

Looks okay, but i'm thinking its a template page from their hosting... Or it was constructed with the intent of people checking out the ftp server...

I did a port scan of the server... And i found it is running SSH

(SSH-2.0-OpenSSH_3.6.1p2)


Yet, the ftp server is on a microsoft computer... So, it looks like one could be intended for gameplay... Unless they have some logical reason to host the ftp content on a Microsoft box... *shrugs*

Users can be limited on IIS ftp, and Apache in Windows. If they chose not to, they chose not to.

I think I'm safe, for now. Wherever I go it isn't long before they find me. I sent Van a message asking him about Triton and the Mezin and if he had people around him that he could rely on. I'll let you know if I get a live resoponse but this is a new autoresponse since yesterday I think... or at least spending all night catching on both 1-18-08 and EthanHaas I haven't seen anyone post this new autoresponse, though I might be half blind.

finally, before I have to put on my asbestos panties- I believe after reading all the cases for and against (including JJ's own statements) and determining that 1-18-08/ Cloverfield and EthanHaas are not related- however there was a lot of Haas stuff posted in the 1-18-08 thread while Spec was running rampant so I watched clues there, too...

Does anyone have a good site monitor to keep an eye out for changes? I found a good one during TLE but I've changed 'puters since then.... (I'll look in tools.)

I emailed the guy and got the same auto response posted. Then, hours later, I got a live response. I had written "Why was Ethan Haas right?" I got back "A strange question, I'm not sure what you mean. At Triton Enterprises we have over 800 scientists and engineers working towards a better tomorrow. Stay tuned for more information."

... I wonder if I should try again...
