Wow, this is getting more and more argish by the minute! I'm gonna dig the crap out of this.
Nice work on the link Smile

EDIT: Would that moon shape above the PS2 controller be significant? It's certainly nothing I've seen....

Why would the source code at ckrox.com state that there are URLs used in the movie?

Update: I ran a whois on ckrox.com:

http://whois.domaintools.com/ckrox.com

What do you guys think?

I suggest you start a new thread for discussion that ckrox site, as it has nothing to do with the discussion in this thread for the Haas game.

As for the 2nd question, you're seeing a feature of Flash. That site uses Flash to display a bunch of images, with potential URLs and links. Flash outputs HTML code, including comment blocks for documenting what might be contained in a flash movie.

There is, as I'm sure has been stated several times already, nothing to show that ckrox is in-game.

Oh, okay
And I see your point about ckrox not having anything to do with the haas site, but the name was on the sixth box, and that's notable, no?

Hold on and I'll start a new thread.

EDIT: Done! here's the link:

It would be notable if indeed that was clearly visible within the flash game, but I have serious doubts, having not seen it myself. I will go back thru the thread and learn more.

Yeah, it's not like i WANT a whole bunch of new threads, just that even within a single ARG we do like to keep clues organized. If that is a new trailhead, we can let people follow it without confusing the issue at hand here. Thanks

You can barely make it out when the sixth "puzzle" opens. I couldn't even see it all right away.

CKROX- In the shot with the dresser and two chairs.

There is a black book on a pile of clothes on the floor. It looks like the kind of notebook that is, in fiction, typically used for a project/journal/manifesto by an artstic or scientific person. Usually an individual who has ideas that limit the amount of friends they have.

There's not only one pen sticking out of it but two. As if being prepared was essential. Quite a striking counterpoint to the condition of the room in which the notebook is kept.

Whatever this turns out to be, there is an attention to detail here that is, atleast, promising.

Edit: Comments posted while I was writing this indicate that CKROX is likely not in-game.

Its simple - its just a adobe flash terminology to "swf" file - a movie. As u see lower in the source its parameter for embeeding:
Code:

<param>

Its just a automatic export thingy where flash dumps (if u want) urls and text lines, that are used in swf file. Nothing more, noting important.

repair :o)

Sorry for previous post, its my fault. But there is that line without "code" tag:
param name="movie" value="spring06_v1.swf" - so as u see, just routine terminology for webdesign to embeed flash files.

Hmm even when 1-18-08.com is claimed that by whois record that belongs to some dummy persons, IP adress of its server is owned by division of Paramount. But IP adress of server hoting this EHWR that is by whois record claimed to be too registered by some dummy persons belongs completely to another company. Hmm, still this can be a promo for that RPG Surprised).
