I swear, I go to work for one day and I come back to four new pages and a bunch of leaps.

I think I'm all caught up now. Downloading IRC.

We would know where it ends as long as we know where it would start. We skip the first six, then look at the next three letters, because DNA bases are grouped in threes called codons (back to biology 101 for me, I think). And the codons should decipher into certain letters, such as AGG translates into "A" and TCT into "T". So AGGTCT corresponds to the word "At".

I'm downloading an actual IRC client, not using the java embed.

Dr. Ambergris meant that if you count six junk DNA letters from the beginning, the message will begin. After the message is over, you count eight junk DNA letters before it begins again. Then you count thirty-two, message is repeated, then you count 38, then it begins again

so... count six over and the message starts. but where does it end? how long is the message?

That was my point. I fully see how the junk bits were added to the 4x message, but wondered how the good doctor thought it should have been done. And now I see how it could be "walked through" till we started getting what appeared to be gibberish. Actually, having the first chunk be a multiple of three was a good bit of design to help us see how the magic square and DNA puzzles interacted.

That really was clever, how the two puzzles needed each other to be solved. Too bad it was too advanced for me. Mad

Shocked March 8th journal entry? That's my birthday... I KNEW he was stalking me.

And, for anyone who hasn't realized it yet, we DO have Ambergris' email address.

Code:
JAmbergrisSPLATtriadgenomics.com

Also, there is

Code:
CMadisonSPLATtriadgenomics.com

--Both found on the press release that I posted way back on the first page of threads. No replies from either yet.

And, we may want to keep an eye on these pages:

http://triadgenomics.com/aboutus.html

You can find the other links on that page. I found them by guessing, looking at the image files. There's nothing there, but I'm betting there will be soon.

awesome, thanks argman90... So I guess it's not just us anymore, huh?

Some things I've noticed from our first 2 "clues":

A) Ambergris' letter. If that was the first thing I'd seen, I'd definitely want to play. Good. Seems like we're going to suck people in. Does it remind anyone else of Cathy's Book? I'm almost certain there was a "Look at the evidence. Visit the websites. Call the phone numbers." thing on the back or in the beginning.

B) Priority Email 1. We have 2 email addresses now, for Christian Madison and Ambergris. We've had these since the beginning, but no one has replied cause we "cheated" to get them - using the press release for the book. I noticed that this magic square is the same one as the one on the research.html page, so we have to crack it- It's important. (we haven't yet, right?)

And, I'm not sure how to go about this, but can we move this into the ARGS WITH POTENTIAL section now, so we can make reference threads and all for newcomers? I'm sure we're going to have newbies, because that email argman90 got is supposed to have gone out to "ARG players around the world," and uF shows up as the second Google hit for "Triad Genomics."

Thriller Fest

I've just read through all the forums a bit ago so I'm trying to get caught up but about the Thriller Fest, I might be able to get there since I live less than 2 hours away.

If you can, that would be awesome... email Joshua Ambergris at "jambergris@ triadgenomics.com" and ask him which day would be best to meet him...

I don't think that's entirely true. Joshua Ambergris' email address was easy to find. So apply the same format to the others:

cmadison ocrowe and gnguyen all @triadgenomics.com

Second Email/Hidden?

Le pardon for the double post but anyway I sent that email and got an auto response which i believe has been already posted on this forum saying that it's not safe to retrieve emails at that address.

So is there a separate E-mail or any way to contact him that has been discovered yet?

I received the same e-mail. I signed up on Christopher Forrest's site. It says "Join our mailing list for future announcements about THE GENESIS CODE and CHRISTOPHER FORREST". I don't know that it is being sent to "ARG players around the world," but to anyone who happened upon the site and registered their name.

As far as being moved to AwP, I think that is an admin's call.

Oh, and this morning while I wasn't paying attention, Quiz came into #genesiscode. He was there from 10:44 - 10:57 EDT. He didn't say anything, so my window didn't flash, and I was unaware that he was in the chatroom.
