Background

Anyone look at the background image of the main page of the Triad Genomics website? It's a building...it's not clear in the background, but if you view it on another page you can see it better.

The properties indicate that it was taken with a digital camera. To me, there looks like the shadow of a person in the foreground.

I have realized that magic squares are fairly prominent in divination and sigil casting, as well as Napolean's Book of Fate. Maybe there's a link there, somewhere. Both are very astrologically-aligned as well.

For once, my occult knowledge is coming in handy.

According to

http://www.triadgenomics.com/files

The main page of the TriadGenomics site was updated today... but I can't find anything different. Anyone got any ideas what they changed?

Given the thought that has gone into much of what we've seen, so far, little things seem to stand out more. To me, that's a good thing. It makes me get more involved when I feel like most of what I'm looking at has been crafted carefully and checked for errors before I see it.
One thing that bugs me a little is the RL links they give that, while related to the theme, don't go far in supporting their claims. I'll consciously suspend some disbelief on that, though.
Another is the case difference on the names of the employees. Dr. Ambergris is proper case while the others are all upper. Going down the path of these not being "real" people (even in the IG world), I'm wondering if the names could be clues.
While "OMAR CROWE" doesn't seem to readily anagram into anything, there are a lot of possibilities on the other two, such as, "DANGER URGENCY" for "DR. GRACE NGUYEN". "DR. CHRISTIAN MADISON" produces a lot of scientific/chemistry/genetics terms.
I've seen people do some amazing anagramming around here and thought I'd throw that out.

Rogi-

Why don't you think Nguyen, Crowe, and Madison are intended to be real people? I was under the impression that they were, seeing as how Crowe posted on uF ( Evil or Very Mad ), and we have an email that Ambergris sent to Madison...

Either way, the anagram stuff is interesting. I've seen a lot of games where peoples' names anagram, but they're real anyway.

Also, the RL links are intended to just increase the reality of Triad Genomics, I think, to give us more info on the stuff we're going to be dealing with in the game.

Under the Doctors general category in his myspace, it says ????p?sa ?e??, any idea what that means? I assume the question marks are meant to be replaced with letters.

edit: Just wanted to add that the diagram of the great pyramid in his photos is the only one I have ever seen looking east. Probably meaningless though.

OK, thedude07, I understand you want to help and you're not sure how to go about it. But please, do everyone (including yourself, mainly) a favor and just read through all of the pages of this thread, following the links for yourself. It may take some time, but you'll be really glad you did.

You'll know what we're talking about, and you won't have to repeatedly say things we've spoken about. And, you won't have to ask us for clarification on things.

That's probably going to sound mean, but I mean it in the nicest way possible. It would be better for everyone, but especially you. You'll enjoy yourself more if you're not just lost all the time.

Mariposa could fit the pattern for the first word. It was one of the original counties in California which was split, later ito a dozen or so others. One of which was Kern, which could fit the pattern for the 2nd word.
And there's my SWAG for the day.

I noticed earlier in the thread it was said that there was no Sarasota in NY, but I found that there is a building in ny city called sarasota less than two miles away from the Millenium tower, but I can't find anything on it.

I've had some experience with anagrammed character names.
Rogi Ocnorb = Igor Bronco = Orbicon.org
So, yeah, it can happen. But it doesn't often for a character we can actually communicate with. ETA: and who has a reasonably "normal" name.

The DNA Code
The DNA Code - junkdna.html converted

Hello Everyone.

I am a Lurker. I do not like to post to forums, but oh well.

I saw on Page 1 that "Shadaraman" posted a "converted" text of the JunkDNA using DNA-o-gram Decoder

Well, I decided to try it myself, but unfortunately it didn't react the same for me. ie, it threw back a bunch of numbers. So I know that is useless.

So I decided to try to find a different decoder, and I found this one here:
Secret Coder Tool

I pasted the text from http://www.triadgenomics.com/junkDNA.html
into the 3rd box labeled DNA Sequence and pressed Decode. it popped up
an error window saying "The character is illegal and will be removed from the input" so I clicked OK. I clicked ok 36 more times. For a total of 37 times before it finally spit out something actually legible. It reads as follows:

"At this years International Biogenetics Conference I will unveil the secret of the genesis code an ancient secret from earths oldest civilizations and a global conspiracy that spans the breadth of human history."

It repeats that twice.

Seems like a letdown to me.. but who knows.
Good Luck all,

-ForumLurker
