Not to be deterred by Mr Crowe's reluctance to reveal information about himself and Quiz I asked Dr Ambergris for hs opinion on the situation.

Subject: Mr Omar Crowe

Dr Ambergris

I have received correspondance from Omar Crowe's email account, however the person sending the emails calls themselves Quiz Goertz. Did Omar use an alias that you know of? Is Quiz Goertz someone else? Do you know who Quiz Goertz is? Whoever this person is they have taken offence to my contacting Triad Genomics staff. Any information you can give me on this subject would be greatly appreciated.

James Stone

And his very interesting response:

Subject: RE: Mr Omar Crowe
Quiz is the IT manager at Triad Genomics, but it sounds like Omar Crowe has taken control of the IT infrastructure as a result of the security lockdown. I would tread carefully - Omar Crowe should not be taken lightly. Quiz has been a friend and I trust him as much as I can trust anyone. I hope he hasn't been compromised.

Sincerely,
Dr. Joshua Ambergris

Doc, we want to help you, but we are pretty stumped as to how. Is there any safe way for you to contact me? Phone, mail, via myspace? PLease, Im reaching out. "

1st Post!

Ok... quick question.

Why is no one else in the chat room? (#genesiscode)

One would think that would be a decent place to talk.
at least at a faster pace than posting.
*shrugs*

I'm an adequate puzzle solver but internet code or anything along those lines freaks me out. Anyway if someone can simplify all the posts for me about this square it would be appreciated. AIM is the same as my login name

The only other thing I could think of to try was the binary thing again but assigning a zero when the number was out of order and a one where it was in the right place (And vice versa)
Those were (for the first square):
g™™gd™™f and ˜ff˜›ff™
No joy.
I can't think of any other things the mechanics of this puzzle allow for that we haven't tried.

For IRC, try www.unfiction.com/chat when you get in, type:
/join #genesiscode
lots of help regarding IRC in the main room.

There is an IRC chat room #genesiscode for this ARG set up so we can discuss theories etc.

If you don't have your own IRC then click here. Enter a nickname, and the channel #genesiscode

If you have your own IRC then:

what lat/long? i didnt find a lat/long Question

OK, thedude07, I understand you want to help and you're not sure how to go about it. But please, do everyone (including yourself, mainly) a favor and just read through all of the pages of this thread, following the links for yourself. It may take some time, but you'll be really glad you did.

You'll know what we're talking about, and you won't have to repeatedly say things we've spoken about. And, you won't have to ask us for clarification on things.

That's probably going to sound mean, but I mean it in the nicest way possible. It would be better for everyone, but especially you. You'll enjoy yourself more if you're not just lost all the time.

aright ppl i'm sorry. now i've read everything in the place from the first page so i'm caught up.

just thinking

i know that people have said about waiting 'till august for something, but they're probably right. maybe, just maybe, he'll give us a clue for the square. after all, all the recordings talked about stopping. and, i think they'll finish the website in august, so maybe we should just chill 'till then?
