I created Slusho! cloverfield aint got nothing on me. O yea, its a glove, not a mitt, find our wat glove is in japanese, then there will be ANSWERS

So, tell us great Slusho creator...

Why would you make a glove look just like an oven mitt? Gloves have 5 fingers. Oven mitts, well... look like the thing on Slusho.

... and maybe I'm just being a crazy drinker, but you mentioned a 19th cup.

There's 18, including the large one. That is, unless the 19th is invisible.

Any relation...
Prob Not

But I thougt i'd post it anyway...
Read AICN again mentioned Found Site, so I looked up Lost Site. Which turns out to be a real registered site http://lostsite.com. Did the standard checking and betting isn't related also seems really old, but it has also been transferred a couple of times so throwing it out there, not much in google period. No analytics or anything, but there you go.

No, the Slusho site was created this year. Alias came to an end last year. So it has to be something of relevance.

RSS/ site Monitors
once a day the best I'll get?

I found AN RSS/ site monitor that checks things daily- not really what I am going for- I'm looking for one that will check more often- I have work to do here at the office today but I'd like to know if there are changes right away. Can anyone direct me to a better monitor?

I used to have one but can't recall the name and deleted the link- that checks periodically through out the day- please message me off list if you have any ideas!

Thanks!

I've been wondering that too. Unless someone was able to read the word "Slusho" on that guys shirt, as opposed to just recognising the logo from the homepage, theres no way anyone could have found the site based on the trailer alone?
The only earlier references to the word Slusho that I can recall is a) a quote from another forum or so where a guy said his friend from LA had seen a film being made and was told by people on the set that the film was called "Slusho", and b) this picture:

But how was the connection made to Cloverfield/1-18-08?

Yeah, let's review. This thread is obnoxiously long.

If you visit IMDB.com and search for JJ Abrams or Cloverfield (or several other things), you'll get this page: http://imdb.com/title/tt1060277/

This is the page for the movie.

If you check the alternate titles for this movie, you'll see the name "Slusho"

Go to Slusho.com and ta-da.

Also, I sent an email to ganuSPLATslusho.jp saying I was a reporter wanting to ask questions about Slusho's secret ingredient. It hasn't been bounced back yet, so maybe it'll stick.

BUT OF COURSE!!!!!

12:01 +12:36=24:37

24:37-the number of cups in slusho(17)=13:20

13:20=1:20=January 20th

january - 1 (whole person in the first picture) = december

20+5 (total number of people in the 2nd picture)=25

December 25th is christmas, the supposed birth of Jesus

ITS THE SECOND COMING OF JESUS GUYS!!!!!!! RUN LIKE HELL!!!!!!!

coming soon to theatres

re: Blicero

@Blicero

That one page on the slusho history is VERY strange. I felt the same way as you, when I first saw it. So, I decided to disassemble the flash object that makes the history and here's my initial conclusions:

1.) There does not appear to be any hidden text or objects in this file. Don't expect to see a video from van if you figure it out. Regardless...
2.) There MAY however be a hidden link
3.) The donkey sprite is unlike any of the others. The actual sprite for this animal is much larger than all the others. In fact, what you see in the image is only 6% of its actual size.

I'll have more information later when I get the tool I need to further analyze the .swf. (It might be possible to go to any hidden link or extract hidden text without knowing what exactly unlocks it.)

-------------------------
However, in the meantime, I'd like to address how *I* would hide a button using the zoom function if I had to. If you wanted to hide something, your best bet would be to put a very very small button in front of a larger button--that way you wouldn't show a clicker hand to arise suspicion and it would be unlikely to be hit by accident. Secondly, this button should probably be animated to make it even harder to hit.

So... what does that mean? If you're wanting to help look for something zoomed in, first look over the buttons--specifically the animals. I wouldn't be surprised if one of the bubbles being let out by the donkey sprite was actually a button leading to a hidden page. But I can't prove that just yet.
